As you may recall, portions of these scenes were shown uncensored among the Big Order OVA extra features.
Obviously, the big news here is the censored content. It’s worth noting that the nude scenes in the OVA were just partial versions of the ones that aired on TV. By my count there are five or more shots that will likely add nipples in these episodes that weren’t previously shown on the OVA.
This series hasn’t consistently provided service, but when it has it’s been quite good. In terms of compilation worthiness, I’d say that Big Order compares well to Gokukoku no Brynhildr.
It was nice that they added a new hottie to the group, though unfortunately she provides very little service before meeting a grisly end.
As far as the anime itself, the story was as mind-numbing as usual. I did like the exchanges between the Sena the imouto and Rin the yandere. The bonding between them feels genuine as Rin grows to admire her captive. It sets up nicely to have Rin go soft on MC-kun later, on account of his ‘sister.’
Iyo is very cute in her scenes, though unfortunately she still feels more like a caricature than a character.
You can’t help but wonder if this show had 26 episodes to work with, a better sound track, and some polished writing if it couldn’t have been a pretty good show. The premise has potential and the character designs / art are some of the best of 2016 so far.
There’s just two episodes left, and you’d have to think that story will dominate them. That said, there are still many potential nude scenes left in the manga if the anime wants to tack one on somewhere in the epilogue.
