The Winter 2015 series finally make their long awaited BD debut. This is one of the more loaded months for ecchi BDs to come out in some time.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata vol.01
The first Winter 2015 series get a BD release. We haven’t blogged this series due to the fact that it’s an A-1 pictures project and based off of non-nude source, but it’s worth mentioning this release anyway since the pilot episode of this series had some interesting moments that might change on BD.
March 10th
High School DxD OVA 03
This OVA has been dubbed an “unaired episode” from one of the previous anime series. The title of the episode is Oppai, Tsutsumimasu! The rough english translation: ‘Packed with Boobs!’. Expect this to be a lot like the two OVAs that came between the first and second seasons of the anime. Good production values and plenty of ecchi.
This OVA will come bundled in BD form with the High School DxD DX.1 light novel volume.
March 25th
Seiken Tsukai no World Break vol.01

We probably aren’t getting nudity from this series, though the OP had blank boobs and there was a semi-promising shower scene in the first episode.
Volume Two will have another shower scene and Volume Three will have some frontal censorship to address.
Cross Ange vol. 04
Figured I’d mention this just in case anyone is still following this series.
Ushinawareta mirai wo Motomete vol. 04
Not expecting any nudity in this volume, though there might be some interesting scans that come out of it.
Madan no O to Vanadis vol. 04
Not expecting anything to change.
Le Fruit de la Grisaia vol. 04
This series has been by far the best ecchi series of 2014’s weak second half. Based on the box art, it appears this volume’s BD extra will focus on Makina, which has to make the lolicon fanboys very happy.
While the special will likely deliver, there was no fanservice to uncensor in episodes 8 or 9.
March 27th
Trinity Seven vol.04
This is an anime that will gladly show Levi’s bare naked ass right on the BD cover, but will never uncensor a thing to show a nipple no matter how exploitative the show got. Come to think of it, didn’t most of the bare ass shots remain censored in, you know, the actual BD episodes? It’s actually pretty funny when you think about it. They are afraid to show on BD what they will happily show on the front of the box.
Oh what could have been. It’s pretty sad when the best piece of eyecandy for a fanservice driven anime is on the front cover of a BD case.
Kantai Collection: KanColle vol.01
My hunch is that this show will remain unchanged on BD. But it’s worth noting that there is plenty of opportunity.
Isuca vol.01
While it’s exciting to see the uncensored version of a show that we know for a fact will show the goods, it would appear from the product description that this anime will not include BD specials. This continues a bit of a disturbing trend for ARMS, who did not include specials with either of their 2014 projects (Wizard Barristers and Gokukoku no Brynhildr).
Sounds like this series will come with a bonus comic (likely with some nudity) but that will be it.
Shinmai Maou no Testament vol.01
This is a loaded month, but no release is bigger than the first Testament BD. We already spotted a nipple under the steam in episode two, so it’s safe to say this volume will deliver.
That said, the main attraction won’t be the uncensored episodes, but the 3 minute extra that IMS has spent months building hype for as being “too salacious” for TV. This series has been a big step into ecchi territory for the formerly tame Production IMS. I can’t wait to see just how far they take things in their three minutes of unrated madness.

Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai After OVA 02
Both Anime News Network and MyAnimeList have made reference to the existence of a 2nd OVA in this series, but the release date has yet to be specified.
The release date was originally set for March of 2015, but keep in mind that the first OVA was supposed to come out in early December and was delayed by a month and a half.
The next To Love-Ru Darkness OVA comes out on April 4th. It’s pretty neat to think that over the span of less than 40 days, we’ll see BD OVA releases for Ikkitousen , Samurai Girls , High School DxD , and To Love-Ru Darkness . Good things always seem to come in bunches.
