Fuuka Fanservice Review Episode 7 & 8

Where’s the ass and titties?

Overview

Koyuki confessed her feelings for Yuu to the whole world, and “The Fallen Moon” (or Fuuka and Friends) played their first gig. The bulk of the “service” in these episodes were body curves, blushing, and the occasional hemline close-up.

Caps and Stitches

Episode 7

Eh. Going to need more than a tiny peek.

These hemline shots have been happening a lot in anime lately. It’s fine to do some tease, but tease without payoff is boring.

We Without Wings and Rosario to Vampire did these shots proper.

Back to Fuuka and the others standing around being befuddled.

“Muahahahaaa…”

Episode 8

The jealous assholes attack.

Koyuki removes her clever disguise to stop the madness.

This crusty bastard starts streaming everything online.

Koyuki disappears into the darkness because she’s Batman.

The crowd stares in disbelief at how utterly terrible their music is.

Koyuki apologizes for almost getting Yuu killed.

The band is named.

Koyuki’s agency want her to distance herself from Yuu for awhile.

The stress takes her voice.

Another one-sided hug. At least Yuu is manning up.

Closing

Despite being listed on most sites under the ecchi genre tag, the last two episodes of Fuuka have been disappointingly light on service. These shows lose their energy when they start taking themselves too seriously.
