Grisaia no Meikyuu – Fanservice Review

After watching Grisaia no Kajitsu and the specials that are currently available, it wasn’t any surprise that Grisaia no Meikyuu was going to deliver something. We got some Kazuki service, some nice shots here and there and a rather explicit rape scene with Yuuji’s mom. Sasuga Grisaia.

First off, there is a bath scene with Kazuki and Yuuji with a butt-ton of steam censorship and missing nipples.

Just in case anyone likes mouths and stuff, I included this. In fairness though, it is a pretty decently done shot.

This scene went on for about 5 minutes, there were some more shots I could’ve used but they went wild with the steam censorship for this. Can’t wait to see it uncensored.

Next up, we hear the news of what happened during Amane’s arc during Grisaia no Kajitsu i.e Kazuki going missing and such. As such, Yuuji’s parents fall into depression and what transpires is a rather graphic rape scene with Yuuji’s mom.

Needless to say this scene was quite…uncomfortable.

Funny enough, in the VN, this scene either happened off camera or was less graphic as this is the CG from the occurrence:

I honestly don’t want to think that they just wanted to shove in this scene just cause they wanted extra tit but that seems like the case.

By the way, there was another shot where Yuuji’s mom hanged herself and she is visibly naked. However, it is quite disturbing and since this is my first post in on the site, I rather keep my integrity early on.

What follows is a lack of service as the rest of it is dedicated to Yuuji’s backstory.

From an anime fan standpoint, this was a pretty nice episode. My favourite character in the entire franchise is Yuuji, he is a main character that is needed more in harem anime in my opinion. So it was nice to see his backstory, even if it was a little jumpy at times. However, it was certainly better than what I have seen previously in the Grisaia no Kajitsu anime where the only real enjoyable and interesting arc was Amane’s (Best girl). I would like to think that the franchise is on the up. I would like to think this because the animation and music are all solid across the board, we just need an actual decent to story to fit in there. I could talk a lot more on how the show is handled behind the scenes but Wizard hit the nail on the head in a previous post

From a pervert’s standpoint, this special brought what it needed. There was pretty much no service at all for Kazuki in Kajitsu so that bath scene will be a delight when it is uncensored. It’s great to know, with a scene like that, that 8-Bit aren’t going to drop the ball with this one and its got me excited for Rakuen which starts airing next week. From the specials we have seen as well (especially Sachi’s where they pretty much included some man juice) and the more graphic rape scene, it makes me wonder what type of service 8-Bit are going to pull for this season though. The fact that they are willing to go over and beyond with this series is fantastic and I just can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
