Ranko steals the spotlight!
Once again the anime deviates quite a bit from the manga. A couple of chapters are skipped yet again, presumably so that the anime can get to other girls with its short run. After all, it probably wouldn’t be so interesting with just one girl (don’t get me wrong, Yame’s awesome, but diversity’s also important).
The episode begins with Junichi receiving a love letter. The mystery writer requests that he meet with her.
Turns out she’s another intimidating gyaru.
Tan gyaru then proceeds to seduce Junichi. What will Yame think of this?
Turns out Yame and tanned gyaru are friends, so say hello to Ranko!
Ranko enjoys groping Yame…a lot.
Yame tells her friend to cut it out. Yame then admits that she and Junichi are dating.
Clearly Ranko is not happy about this.
Later, Ranko, Yame, and Junichi all agree to hang out.
Yet another Nene cameo. She runs away crying as she sees Junichi with not one, but two girls!
Can’t be a Hajimete episode without a Junichi fantasy…
Back to reality. Girls try on some outfits.
The trio is later harassed by two guys. Ranko leads them away with her good looks.
After that mess, Ranko attempts to seduce Junichi again.
Disco ball censorship, probably because Ranko is obviously humping him. I guess we’ll have to wait for BDs.
Junichi pushes Ranko away. How nice of him to be faithful.
Too bad Ranko isn’t happy about getting her way.
Turns out the two were childhood friends. Ranko wanted to pull some moves on Junichi to make Yame jealous. That’s right, Ranko’s also a lesbian.
Ranko tearfully apologizes.
The next day…
Maybe Kashi isn’t so innocent after all…
Overall I’d say that the fanservice is pretty abundant compared to previous episodes. Most of it is just gainaxing (from Ranko, of course). Kashi, the black haired girl, has been hinted to have a proper introduction soon. The next episode is titled, My First Serious Gal, so it’s possible that she’ll take over from there. Maybe the Nene, the oppai loli, will be next after that (although that’s hard to say because in the manga she’s introduced in the omake). There are still a couple of other girls to get to, so stay tuned!
