Thoughts on the project
This is the second time that I’ve made Ikkitousen mega-compilation. The original was created in the Summer of 2013 before this site had even launched. At the time, there weren’t any HD sources available for Dragon Destiny or Great Guardians, and Extravaganza Epoch didn’t exist yet. On top of that, my video creating techniques had a lot of improving to do. Still, I couldn’t have been more happy with how that video turned out at the time, and to this day it is the most downloaded torrent off this site.
Now that I’ve done videos for most of the great fanservice anime, I’ve learned some tricks that have really helped along the way. I’ve been going back through some of my older videos and selecting a few here and there for remakes (previous remakes included Manyuu Hikenchou, Kanokon, Ladies versus Butlers, etc). I felt the need to do so since my old methods missed a lot of fanservice and also lacked the now indispensable tits and ass sections.
In addition to those factors, having true HD is a pretty big deal. So when we finally saw the release of 1080p full HD BD box releases for Dragon Destiny and Great Guardians last year, I knew I would have to remake this project (and that it would be awesome).
Long story short, the improved editing and additions of new sections turned what was once a 48 minute compilation in low definition quality into a 185 minute 1080p true HD remake, almost all of it done from scratch. Roughly four times the length if you can believe that.
I can honestly say that this is one of my very best videos. And it’s certainly the longest- topping To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd by an entire hour. Hell, the ass section alone is longer than most of my previous videos all by itself, and the boob section is longer still.
It’s taken me roughly three months and hundreds of hours to complete, but it was totally worth it. I hope you all have as much fun watching it as I did making it.
