But who cares about that. Fanservice!
Actually, the fanservice here really wasn’t that great other than a few decent lower body shots. Yet another episode goes by with zero nipple potential. Meanwhile, the censorship we do get is as arbitrary and laughably unnecessary as ever. At this point it has become pretty clear that the censorship in this show- particularly the lock and key censorship- is almost entirely for stylistic purposes and nothing more.
A quick review of the episode fanservice highlights:
Mitsuki spends a lot of time in her underwear in this episode. Unfortunately, most of the shots during these fanservice scenes are at medium-long distance, which doesn’t exactly help the art quality much. Notice how the belt around her waist is not censored here?
Seconds later, we get a closeup where her crotch is plainly seen, but her belt is given the whiteout. Seriously now. What the fuck.
Later we get another medium-long distance shot, but this time they decided to censor it. This series has been remarkably inconsistent with how they choose to utilize censorship.

The episode highlight though was Hiyori taking possession and spanking her own ass. Even blatant titty anime often forget the fanservice value of ass spankings, so this was refreshing to see.
Overall, this was a pretty typical episode where little happens but the show paces well enough that it never feels boring. Again, no potential for nudity, and I think the inconsistency of the censorship, the strategically placed topless scenes during the early episodes, and the production company’s past track record with false positive censorship in Ro Kyu Bu! do not bode well for fanservice enthusiasts. Maybe the movie will have boobs, but the manga didn’t, and I’m having my doubts about this anime. Just four weeks from now, we’ll find out.
