Faithful to the manga, the Seikoku no Dragonar anime overwhelms us early on with an almost unprecedented barrage of Barbie doll style nudity. Eco might as well be a nudist in the manga and the anime is faithful to that intention, which surprises me if only because the amount of nudity is just so much for a show like this.
Eco spends at least half her screen time naked in this episode, but that’s hardly enough I suppose as we are also treated to an eyeful from Silvia and Angela as well. And Eco, when she isn’t naked, can hardly go ten minutes without getting horny for Ash.
Will the BDs match the manga’s nudity? Really, I am not sure just because this show seems to be about a lot of things beyond service, and even the manga avoided showing nipples in the early chapters. We might see a situation here like Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi or Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge where the BDs have blank boobs in some scenes but are drawn with nipples in others.
And of course, this show now officially can be labeled a Zero no Tsukaima rip-off, with the line about Ash sleeping on the floor because he’s a “dog” sealing the deal.
