On a continent ruled by sword and magic called Kunaaan, there are three kingdoms with a fragile power balance that could spell disaster and war at any moment. Another power, the evil dragon Daganzord, also resides on the continent, and no one is powerful enough to stop him from spreading destruction in his wake. Bairo and Kismitete, and a party of wizards attempted to seal the dragon, but were foiled. This event becomes known thereafter as the Balbagoa Tragedy. Bairo and Kismitete’s son Hiiro is saved by Gill, and Hiiro swears to avenge his parents’ deaths and trains himself with the sword. When Hiiro turns 16, he sets out on a journey to slay the dragon, and Gill accompanies him, having no choice. Along the way, they meet many types of people and gain companions on their journey.
There’s close to enough enough (but mild) ecchi for a full fanservice review but we’ll stick with a mini-fanservice review format because it’s not likely there will much fanservice in future episodes.
Episode 01
Promising start. Busty damsel in distress. As a dragon sacrifice. Nice cleavage too. And she turns out to be a queen not a princess. Too bad she doesn’t survive. Would have liked to seen a lot more of that MILF…
The foxgirl is a hottie. And really tiny too… At least she gives ecchi fans a little ass service too…
And some skin from the witch… Don’t think this anime will show a lot of skin though…

Nice OP. Nice catgirl! Really like her design. And the service – boobs, crotch and ass – is nice. And some bouncing boob service from the catgirl which I wasn’t expecting.

What’s with the witch girl showing up in a dragon’s mouth? She’s cute though.

Witch girl is pretty but rather bland and boring. Hope that changes in future episodes. Her end card looks nice though…
Episode 04
Welp! They blew a golden opportunity. Most of episode 04 takes place at an onsen. And all the girls are wearing some sort of modesty garment all the time. Are ecchi fans being trolled??? What kind of garment is that anyway? It looks like a cross between a apron and a hospital gown.
We do get some partial glimpses of boobs and thighs and backs. But milder than it should be. A few nice stitches though with my favorite being the fox girl sitting on a rock. She’s sexy even when too modest for an onsen scene…
Wait, do catgirls even like onsens? Doesn’t make much sense. But she’s pretty sexy in an onsen. Such a nice design…

Thoughts
From the PVs, I was hopeful but doubtful for cute girls and some, even if mild, fanservice. Better than expected in some ways. But worse than expected in too many other ways.
I happen to like catgirls and foxgirls and witches a lot. That’s what initially caught my attention along with the busty queen posting as a dragon sacrifice. Unfortunately, the queen perished even though she went down fighting. And the foxgirl is on the wrong side and not very smart. At least she’s smarter than mc-kun who makes rocks look good when it comes to brains. He takes baka boy to a whole new level. Sigh. The catgirl just doesn’t have enough screen time. Shame. And the witch is just plain boring. Pretty but boring. But there are hints she might change in the future. Sure hope so.
The artwork turns out to be on the cheap side. As does the entire show, especially the writing. Double shame. I do like the artwork of the end cards though. When they have girls on them instead of guys…
But they really blew a golden opportunity with episode 04’s onsen scene. Those modesty garments take away most of the fun for ecchi fans. Censorship might have been better. Imagine that. But now we pretty much know what direction future fanservice is going to take. Tease and more tease… Such a shame…
So no chance of nudity in Seisen Cerberus now or on BDs. But I can’t recommend watching it either. Even if just for the catgirl and the foxgirl. For a shonen show, it’s more baka than most. And more generic than most. Doing things on the cheap side will do that. So if you want to watch a shonen fighting show with mild fanservice this season, Sousei no Onmyouji (Twin Star Exorcists) is a much better choice. If I keep watching, it’ll be mainly to make stitches since some of the stitches turn out nice and I’m not finding many stitches out there…
