Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai – Episode 1 Fanservice Review

In a world, where obscenity is absent, a hero is needed to help us regain our way.

That title is a mouthful and a half, might call these reviews just “Shimoneta Fanservice Review” from now on. Anyways, J.C Staff have been very lackluster fanservice wise in recent history, with their last instance of nudity occurring over 10 years ago. However, this show (and Prison School if they don’t balls it up) might win over the hearts of Ecchi lovers alike. Lets get into it.

This show surprised me. Its funny, lewd and has enough backbone for it to be solid. Its has a huge self-aware tone that you don’t see too often nowadays and it really suits it well. Obviously a show like this never had a chance of taking itself seriously but it seems like its taking the extra step and embracing the actual craziness of the premise. I appreciate that.

As I mentioned, this is being done by J.C Staff who have been known to not animate nudity in modern times so actual nudity for this anime seems quite unlikely. However, J.C Staff are also doing Prison School this season so it will be very interesting to see what direction they are going to go nowadays. If they take such anime like this and Prison School which both do not hide their ecchiness, it just leaves me to think what J.C Staff are doing. Maybe they are just trying to make a quick buck with some teasing service or maybe its something more than that? Its most likely the former but I still have hope.
