Shukufuku no Campanella CG specials abridged compilation

Shukufuku no Campanella did something pretty interesting with their specials- they went the CG route.  As far as I know, they are the first and only ecchi series to use CG for their BD fanservice extras.

Obviously, CG is not for everyone, which is why I separated the specials from the the rest of the series, something I haven’t yet done in any other fanservice compilation.  If you can stomach CG boobage, then this is for you.

Before watching these specials, my previous encounters with CG porn (and let’s face it, these specials are clearly meant as softcore porn) did not leave a very good impression.  Weird.  Ugly.  Awkward.  Nothing I’m interested in.  And I think for maybe the first minute I watched these, I felt the same way.  But once I got used to it, I actually really came to love these specials.  The art level is actually very good by CG standards, and they use a lot of close up, rotating shots that aren’t as feasable in 2D.  These were all voice-acting free, and I think in part that allowed the makers to make things a little extra risqué, similar to some of the Kanokon and Ladies vs. Butlers specials which were voice-acting free and seemed “emboldened” as a result.

I wouldn’t say I’m a CG convert, but these specials did make me want to see more of the same.  I’m honestly a little sad that no other ecchi series has since copied the CG method for specials since then.

As far as the video itself, it’s a simple, straightforward edit.  All six specials, in order, with only about 30% cut out, and with fewer zooms/repeats than I normally use.  The 30% I cut out was the nipple free portions, though I think even those parts were pretty awesome.  I still keep the originals around.

Overall, I am highly impressed with AIC with how they picked themselves off the mat after a relatively lackluster amount of fanservice in the original TV series.  The OVA and specials pretty much saved SnC as an ecchi series, IMO.
