Ecchi Miscellanea: Summer 2019 (Part 2)

Let’s keep going!

Second part of the amazing (yeah, it’s amazing) summer general review. Here the first part.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II

Season 2 of Danmachi, with protagonist Bell still dancing around inside and outside a fantasy dungeon. And easily being the more courted guy in the whole city because 90% of other men are (a) boors, (b) old farts, (c) wearing an elephantine mask. And he still has a big-boobed smurf goddess trying to entice him in a totally tsundere way.

Isekai Cheat Magician

A isekai taken from a novel that seems written by an 8-year-old child. I really mean it. There’s a guy (Taichi) that gets isekai-ed along with his childhood friend (Rin). She likes him, he’s dumb and doesn’t understand. They arrive in a fantasy world and are almost eaten by a bad mix of unicorn and dragon. Then they discover they got “cheat” magic powers and the whole series is about the director trying to make excuses for not having Taichi one-shot every bad guy in sight. Makes you wonder how this kind of thing might sell. (Probably very poorly…). It’s a shame because the girls are cute.

Kanata no Astra

In the year 2063, travelling through space has become commonplace. Eight students and a kid set out for a school camp on a nearby planet. However, the students are then mysteriously transported 5,000 light years away from home, with no way to call for help. Aboard an abandoned spaceship they call the Astra, these nine students slowly try to make their way back and figure out why they were transported in the first place. Not really fanservice-packed, but I’m told that the beach episode was really interesting (check it out).

Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?

A helpful guy, Kiryuu Keiki, one day finds a confession letter addressed to himself, with no sender name but a pair of white panties. So the good-guy Kiryuu starts looking around to find the panties-leaving-Cinderella and discovers that every candidate is a total pervert. Good for him. Peculiar art and chara design and also fulfills a lot of fetishes. [Note: You can also check the special review for the pool episode.]

Kimetsu no Yaiba

Your friendly demon-slaying shonen. Also, it doesn’t have ecchi in the slightest. Save a certain female demon worth noting.

Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO (2ndcour)

Second part of the mind-bobbling adapted-from-visual-novel anime, that starts with a playboy trying to get in the pants of teachers, classmates and basically every girl under 35 he finds around… and ends in an isekai (?). At that point (around episode 19 out of 26) not even I could stomach it anymore, so that’s it. But someone told me that in the last episode there’s an old fart in tuxedo making a naruto-run to Area-51, so you may want to check it if you ever feel sleepless.

… and we’re still not done!

Summer was packed with anime giving only an eyeful of fanservice, so stay tuned for the last part of the review!
