Thoughts
Overall the stuff starts hitting the fan in episode 04. Pretty rough for the characters involved. And for viewers who might not like some of what’s going on not to mention so much drama. OTOH, the fanservice was upped an notch and we got both yuri and hetero sex scenes even if tastefully done. Nice…
I just knew that the music teacher, Minagawa-sensei, was a real piece of work. Turns out that not only is she fooling around a lot, she gets off more in exploiting other females than she does the actual sex. My new nickname for her is Queen NTR Bitch….
The sound of the door closing is from all the viewers who can’t stand NTR even with it’s a female instead of a male. I can’t blame them. I’m no fan of NTR myself. But the high production values including the writing, visuals and directing will keep me watching. And there’s still hope that Queen NTR Bitch will get her just desserts in the end…
To be honest, Kuzu no Honkai seems more ecchi than it really is. It’s pretty much all story and character driven and tastefully done. Not much pandering. A better tag might be smut the way some anime and manga sites used to define it for seinen and josei titles. Still sexual though…
With characters this messed up, who knows what’s gonna happen next?

It’s a love polygon. Of unrequited love. Every which direction. Every which way…
Production values are high. Nicely so. Nice artwork, writing and direction. Nothing comes across as too generic, especially the characters. Multi-layered. Complex. With both positive and negative emotions. Some nice dialogue too. (Which is not included since I am using Leopard Raws for my reviews.)
Horny teenagers. Full of hormones. Who don’t like themselves very much. And pine for a love that they can never have. Yet are intelligent and thoughtful. Even if they can’t control how they feel and act.
Definitely not an anime for everyone. Especially if you don’t like angst and drama with your ecchi. But if you’re an ecchi fan and you want to see see a little more “action” than most anime shows this season, you might want to check Kuzu no Honkai out.
