An anime television series adaptation was produced by Tri-Slash and Project No.9 began airing between July and September 2014 concluding its run with 12 Episodes.
I really liked the first couple episodes of Momo Kyun Sword, but sometime near the second half the show seemed like to be in a slump of some sort. The fun fight scenes and different approaches to fanservice slowly faded and instead in the second half its all mostly dull service and a plethora of shots of Momoko’s bouncing cleavage. Late into the show I’d gotten pretty tired of that. The 2 Swimsuit Episodes, and that one episode where the Celestial Maidens become idols are perhaps the series highlight. I will say the Character Designs are great and I loved Ayana Taketatsu’s portrayal of Momoko, I didn’t even realize it was her until I started doing some research on this show. Oh almost forgot there is one nipple throughout the whole show it happens during the first swimsuit episode when Momoko loses her top its kinda hard to spot.
