Nekomonogatari (Kuro) details the Golden Week Incident mentioned in Bakemonogatari. As a prequel most of the usual suspects are nowhere to be seen, as such most of the focus is on Black Hanekawa waltzing around in skimpy lingerie which is great. Tsukihi and Karen also have a couple great Service Scenes. I loved this entry it restored my faith in the series after Nisemonogatari somewhat drove me away. This was a return to form for the franchise, And a great precursor to the Brilliant 2nd Season. Which I do plan on compiling after re-watching it to make out how much the BD’s Changed.
