Here we have it, the famous tentacle scene from the light novel / manga. We also get treated to a whole lot more blank-boobage, too. With this many blank boobs you almost wonder if they will have the balls to add nipples on blu-ray because if they did the sheer amount of R-rated nudity would be pretty mind-blowing for a show like this.
I have to keep reminding myself that there are reasons for optimism. The manga would eventually have a ton of nipple sightings and the anime is being produced by a small time company with small time production values (usually a good indicator for future nudity). Further increasing my optimism is that we get some blank boobs in this episode for Rebecca and Silvia, which at least shows consistency. ImoCho was inconsistent in how they handled censorship which caused me to suspect it would all be false-positive bullshit.
This episode leads off with a suspicious fanservice scene for Silvia. We see her chest (clothed), and then the clothes become partially transparent as if to reveal her boobs in a way that is almost always done to show nipples. Except this time they show blank boobs instead, which was a little unusual if not strange.
Or to put it plainly, a “reveal” shot to let us see through her clothes really makes no sense if all they are doing is revealing that she has no nipples. This increases my optimism for the future fanservice level of this series, because in most cases a shot like that will add nipples on blu-ray, and if this show adds nipples there, they are going to be adding nipples a ton of other places too, most likely.
