The narrative begins
Episode 05 heads to the leaner side of fanservice, while adapting the first bonus chapter that happens in Volume 2. The bonus chapters are where most of the action is so this is promising. At the same time it’s doing the typical scaling back of fanservice scenes.
This Magino shot from the bonus chapter is the only thing that was partially left in, but in a nerfed form.
The above outfits do make it in the show but stitchery isn’t going to avail me there. I’m still looking into solutions for webm files.
Episode 05 adapts chapters 14 and 15 and the bonus chapter of Volume 2 “One Hundred Cosplay Tales.”
Episode 06
Starts off virtually the same as the manga.
Then we get some good Mikari faces which are anime original.
Lilysa leaves the clubroom for remedial studies and runs into peak woman.
Mikari then decides to dress up as Lilliel and Okumura happens to stop by. She wastes no time in tempting him.
Lilysa returns and gasms over seeing Lilliel in the flesh.
Once again it is confusing as to what they will and won’t show. It’s okay to show Lilysa in her underwear and Lilysa grabbing Mikari’s breasts is anime original. Most of the service with Mikari is cut despite her being lewded quite a bit in episode three. Here’s the equivalent manga panels for comparison.
This brings us to the end of the volume 2 material, and into volume 3. Unfortunately, they start volume 2 by skipping the entirety of chapter 17. Service panels down below. I will put high doubt on this even appearing anywhere in the TV show.
Anime Okumura will never know the joy of having Lilysa’s breasts planted nipple first into his face.
Okumura goes on a secret training camp to learn photography better. He enlists the aid of Ogino and Magino and learns of the Four Heavenly Cosplay Queens which begins the main narrative.

Okumura then puts his new gangsta style photography skills to use in capturing Lilliel in trouble.
The student council shows up at the end of the episode to rain on the manga club’s parade.
Episode 06 covers chapter 16, skips all of 17, covers 18 and 19. I assume they’ll be adapting more of the bonus chapters, but with the aversion and inconsistency with showing fanservice I don’t know how much will be adapted. The volume 8 bonus chapter is the only one the anime could cover that has 0 fanservice in it. The rest of them are leaps and bounds beyond what are shown in the manga itself.
