Peak adventure in space with everybody’s favorite thing: boobs
What do you get when you mix peak adventure with hot girls in space? It’s Space Adventure Cobra, a 1982 TV anime based off the manga by the same name. While there is a 2010 anime by the same name with the same characters this post is only going to focus on the 1982 show directed by Osamu Dezaki. Funnily enough, it seems that a lot of modern anime simply copied and pasted ideas from this show.
Magic mirror on the wall, who is the chaddest of them all? The answer is naturally Cobra.
An early shower scene with the female lead, Dominique. She has a distinctive tattoo on her back that makes her recognizable. Like most female leads of the time period she gets…you guessed it, captured and brainwashed. Only in this show to serve as Space Pope.
I’m not sure what was going on here. This is probably one of the many women that try to seduce and betray Cobra, but because he’s so smart and handsome he never falls for it.
Fantastic imagery of women being naked. That is all.
More imagery only this time with Dominique.
What in tarnation? It turns out that Space Karen tried to trick Cobra into unlocking a treasure guarded by some unholy fiend, but we all learn that the real treasure was Cobra all along and are taught a valuable lesson.

Cobra continues to club hop for hot women and a few familiar faces pop up while doing so.
This is a single episode that is going to get very weird. Essentially Cobra infiltrates an evil genie’s lair to steal his treasure.

Cobra manages to take the genie’s power and turn it on him causing him to explode.
The remaining women mount an attack on Cobra, but are unable to overcome his manly aura and make love not war instead.
We’re gonna take a short break from lewding the ladies so that Cobra can join an intergalactic full contact baseball team where killing the opponent is a legal move.

Meanwhile, back on the Dominique Cam, we get to watch her take a shower where she is temporarily driven insane by her nipples disappearing.
Cobra comes to her aid which returns her nipples where they belong.
Once more Dominique takes a shower to keep the wretched specter of Asmongold away. Remember, a bath a day keeps Big Stinky away.
We’ve already seen Dominique nude, but bikinis are still good.
Cobra takes a shower, only to be interrupted. Resisting our intrepid hero is just too far beyond her, however.

I actually love this part. A group of women get attacked while on the job by some alien bug or something that extracts fluids, but the animators just didn’t want to be bothered drawing skin tight clothes so instead elected to just color in their bodies. Our win, however, as this woman’s nipple is fully erect.
A woman joins Cobra in the shower because he’s irresistible. Then another woman tries to betray the fuck out of Cobra with the aid of her pet…duck. Cobra penetrates her, but not in a good way.
Cobra tracks down Dominique but she is once again stolen by a space samurai.
Yet another one of the crazies that Cobra must contend with. This time a woman that that seduces men and sets them on fire.
In the final arc of the show the bad guys attempt to enslave all of humanity by placing giant Buddha titty statues across space to accomplish this. But our boy the great Space Cobra foils the plot, rescues Dominique, reverses her brainwashing and everybody lives happily ever after. Except the bad guys. They’re all dead.
