In this second season of an epic ecchi drought, one of the pleasant surprises has been an anime that is mostly moe girls doing moe things but actually tries to be sexy too…

The story revolves around class 1-7 of Tennogofune Academy, where all the students with “bad karma” or misfortune seem to have been gathered. Hibari, a student in this class, meets the unlucky Hanako and the perennially unhealthy Botan on her first day of school, and together they try to find a way to turn their school life into a happy one.
There’s not enough ecchi for a full fanservice review so we’ll go with a quick mini-fanservice review instead.

TBH, I wasn’t expected much boob bounce if any. This was better than expected…

Thoughts
I happen to like HEM (Harem Ecchi Moe) shows a lot. But Anne-Happy is Moe much more than anything else. Yet there is more Ecchi than I expected. Something that’s appreciated in the midst of an epic drought for ecchi.
I really like the watercolor-ish backgrounds and the character designs and the eye designs. And making stitches for this show has been fun even if some stitches were not easy to make because of character movement + shifting backgrounds.
I really like the end cards and eye catches too. Some really nice artwork.
Ruri, the purple haired girl, has the best reaction faces this season. Hands down. It’s tempting to cap a lot more of her reaction faces than I did.
At least Anne-Happy tries to be sexy even if mostly moe. They have belly buttons, thighs, rumps sticking out (a fav pose of mine), closeup shots and even boob bounce and more. The other full-length moe-moe show with high school girls this season, Sansha Sanyou, isn’t even trying. Their last episode had girls in gym clothes for a long time and the outfits weren’t sexy and the boobs barely moved. But they were cute. But cute + sexy trumps cute-only any day or night…
So no chance of nudity in Anne-Happy now or on BDs but it’s still a fun show with unexpected but mild ecchi if you are not allergic to moe and/or mild ecchi.
