As requested, my pick for best girl. Turns out every main girl and woman got to wear a nice-and-tight outfit so none got disqualified for not being sexy at least once.

But to be honest, my choice for best girl has been the same from beginning to end and that’s Ruri. She’s had the best reaction faces and best fanservice throughout the show including the only panty shot in the anime itself. Plus she’s probably the most “normal” of all the unlucky girls.

Thoughts
Nice to see the girls in an onsen. They look so cute and sexy. Not enough skin showing though. And too many stills. The budget might have been running low…
Anne-Happy was never going to be anything more than mild ecchi but it’s a shame that they didn’t keep the level of fanservice up that they started out with. That would have made the show a lot more special. But still we did get a lot more and a lot more variety than most moe slice-of-life shows.
I really like the watercolor-ish backgrounds, the character designs and the eye designs. Plus making stitches and videos for this show has been fun. I really like the end cards and eye catches too. Some really nice artwork.
Ruri and Hibiki have some of the best reaction faces this season.
I happen to like HEM (Harem Ecchi Moe) shows a lot. But most moe shows don’t even try to be sexy. Including a few this season. But Anne-Happy at least tried. Even though the effort varies from episode to episode Still better fanservice than expected for a moe slice-of-life show even if it’s only mildly ecchi. And it’s still really moe + sexy with a really fun group of girls…
So no chance of nudity in Anne-Happy now or on BDs but it’s still a fun show with unexpected but mild ecchi if you are not allergic to moe and/or mild ecchi.
