The battle concludes allowing the story (and service) to move on. Rias provides some boobage and Kunou (!) gets an eyecatch.
Issei and company take a surprising loss this episode, as do thirsty viewers.
DxD takes the week off from fanservice for the most part.
As you might imagine, DxD Hero is awesome in compilation form.
This season hit its stride in episode two, so a down week this time around would have been understandable if not expected. Instead, we got the best episode yet.
All in all, this was a pretty good OVA/Movie/whatever by Production IMS. Hopefully this is the first of a long line of similar efforts in the future. It’s even better in condensed form, of course.
The story isn’t slowing down at all, and we even get two new characters. Thankfully, this episode still finds time to take a much needed booby break. A very nice episode indeed.
A quick and (not so) dirty run down of episode two.
Is Issei ready for the Bedroom arts?
There’s quite a lot of nudity here yet again. Also, it seems Devilman can see through clothes?
