Well, we’re a little behind on this one, so it’s time to catch-up. If this season has been slow you and you’re looking for some action; this may be the one for you. So let’s go through some facts real quick:
- Based off the manga by Iwahara Yuji(King of Thorn, Darker than Black)
- Directed by Kanta Kamei(Nanana’s Buried Treasure, Kuroko’s Basketball)
- Produced by Studio 3Hz(Sora no Method) and Orange
- Character designs by Matsutake Tokuyuki
- Interestingly is that Funimation is on the anime committe
So we have two robot-themed shows this season. While Koukaku no Pandora is funny and ecchi; Dim W brings the action story and it’s own class of moe. The chance for nudity seems very slim here but the 1st episode showed more promise for fanservice than I first thought. If there are any nipples it likely won’t come from our robot MC. Cause she’s a non-nude robot and cause nipples are apparently expensive.
Episode 1:
Our MC, Kyōma Mabuchi
Mira Yurizaki
Yikes.
Love his ride.

Thoughts on the anime:
This may end up being my favorite show this season. The animation quality is great and it has unique characters. Mira, our cute robot is very interesting; she acts far more human-like than other robots do. She also has a wonderful personality which is reflected in the way she acts and speaks. Which her CV is Ueda Reina, who happened to voice Ōka Ōtori(Tai-Madō Gakuen 35 Shiken Shōtai) last season. Talk about talent, those two have two very different personalities. If I had to choose a ‘robot’ partner it would likely be Mira; she’s just too adorable.
