The Winter 2016 season begins its run on BD this month. Suffice to say, there isn’t much to report here for ecchi fans.

Prison School OVA (March 4th)
The Prison School OVA covers the “Mad Wax” arc in the manga, which takes place after the events of the season finale and could serve as a bridge to a second season.
Given the success of the series, a second season seems fairly likely, though I could see it taking a while to happen as the manga currently isn’t set up all that well for another anime arc (how would season 2 end?).
Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm vol.01 (March 18th)
Despite being based off an eroge (which had nudity, obviously), I don’t think there is much hope for this show based on how the TV series has played out so far. I think we’ll know exactly what kind of show this will be for ecchi content by volume one, though sadly I think this will probably be the only volume I’ll be reporting on if BD content disappoints as expected.
Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut vol.01 (March 23rd)
Like Four Winds , this is a show that will likely tip its hand in volume one, will probably make no changes, and will give no reason to be on the watch list in April. So sad.
Valkyrie Drive vol.04 (March 23rd)
Of the big name characters who still need attention in the specials, we have Meifon, Torino, Red Hair Admiral, Momoka, Rayne, and Lady J. Pair them up and you probably have your remaining three specials. Maybe the chick with gear tits and her flat-chested friend could make a cameo, but I’m guessing not.
Admiral Red Hair, perhaps with Torino, would make a lot of sense here, given that episode eight was Akira’s main story arc. Then again, the previous special had Kasumi, and volume three didn’t really involve her character that much.
Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst vol.04 (March 25th)
More group scenes await. There seems to be a strong focus on Mio this time, at least in the TV airing portions. Maria also gets some action, albeit briefly, when she transforms into “adult” Maria during her battle in episode eight.
