Return
Guild is back with a decent episode.
Noma has asked to study Kikuru, and is impressed with his skill, though Kikuru admits this is helped by Hitamu’s scouting ability. Kikuru asks why Noma couldn’t observe the previous two she traveled with, but they left after they learned Kikuru killed the spider.
Noma recalls that snakes are weak to cold, and casts some magic to kill them. Following this, we get some more information on her – Noma can use black and white magic, but not advanced magic from either field, and also this magic is weaker than normal. This seems to be a sore spot for her, as she laments that she must rely on teammates to finish enemies.
The cat is out of the bag now – Noma is revealed to be male, which is why I refuse to take any caps or webm’s of him. However, in a recent chapter, something happened that further complicated this character, so I’m not sure what to make of Noma.
After being caught by the slimes, Noma is feeling self conscious again. Kikuru takes the opportunity to praise him however, claiming that Noma has natural skill that can be improved.
Noma again doubts his abilities, Kikuru responds by saying it isn’t only personal strength that matters, but working with a team to defeat something one could not do by themselves. Noma has little to no experience in team combat, so he asks Kikuru if he could join his team on occasion, and embarrasses him by calling him master.
This half of the episode takes us to the plains. These cows (or Moo-Rocks) have skulls that do not stop growing, and it gets dangerous when they grow to the point it covers their eyes. The crew is here to chip off the segments that cover their eyes and collect the leftover material. There was also some pondering on monster movement after the killing of the spider a few episodes back which seems to be hinting at something that could happen later, but I’m not sure exactly what, or if this will even be realized before the end of the season. Probably not.
The Moo-Rocks here are said to be made of only bone and muscle, which causes them to have a fondness for soft things. Can you spot something on the body of Enoma that is large, soft, and cushiony?
Remis hits her finger after being distracted hearing a conversation between Kikuru and Enome. This frightens the Moo-Rocks, who have sensitive hearing because they can’t see.
The Moo-Rocks are said to be a peaceful monster, and their love of cushioning is said to have a pacifying effect. This is the perfect setup for this series, as it serves for another justification for monsters to ingratiate themselves with the women of this manga.
Remis has an idea to help the situation, which leads to her being violated as well. Though it is possible that Remis just wanted to alleviate her small breast envy for even a moment. Remis has bitten off more than she can chew however, as the Moo-Rocks quickly overwhelm her.
A rather obvious setup is realized after Eshune is shown arriving as Kikuru and Enome maneuver themselves into a compromising looking position. A good bit of humor is always welcomed.
Webm Album
Aside from Noma’s entry as a team member, this was an episode fairly soft on the plot. Of course, that’s not what most are here for, but do remember that plot is what gives us more characters, and enables a greater diversity of situations for ecchi hijinks.
