Another episode
The review text for this post will be more terse than usual. Things should be back to normal next week and after. A shame really – there’s a lot I’d like to say about what seems to be a normal episode.
A good portion of the first half of this episode deals with a pretty merchant running a hardware store, who also doubles as something of a real estate agent, with some wandering around the new city as well.
Our merchant girl takes a peek and concedes that Michio has found himself a fine girl.
After some haggling between the two, Michio decides to rent a house that Merchant Girl here is offering.
Michio decides to travel to the Labyrinth to test out his new weapon. The results you can see above.
I forgot why I added this webm to the review until I watched it a few times. The jump cuts here are very abrupt as Michio thinks back on his recent escapades in his new world – usually these are handled with some kind of soft white light filter and fade-in’s. Why they didn’t go for this is strange to me.
All the typical raw sites I use to pull the manga images from do not use the uncensored volume releases. I was forced to go to my bookwalker library to get these. As a result, I was forced to use the cheap and shitty dollar store looking method of acquiring these shots – via snipping tool. I’ll look to see if there’s a way to pull the images from the bookwalker version.
The size of Roxanne’s breasts have fluctuated dramatically throughout this anime, but this is a particularly dramatic reduction in their size.
Some seem to be confused by what is happening here. The manga isn’t very clear on this either. The constricted and almost claustrophobic shots and perspectives are to blame for sure. But my understanding of this scene is that he took to cleaning Roxanne more intensely than he had before which served as a bit of foreplay that she wasn’t used to, the kind that would really get her riled up. This “warmed her up” so to say, so when Michio later penetrates her Roxanne says she’s “never felt like this before” which I interpret as meaning Roxanne orgasmed for the first time.
Michio investigates the Quratar Labyrinth himself while Roxanne remains back at their new home to clean up.
Just before sharing an intimate moment, Michio and Roxanne are interrupted by a delivery of some furniture. This is hardly a hindrance however, as you’ll soon see.
The second part of this scene plays out a bit differently in the manga than in the anime, unless the anime pulled a scene from a future chapter and replaced it with this for some reason, but I don’t think that’s the case.
The plot continues its standard pace. As usual, whether this is to your preference or not is entirely your own judgement. For those still watching, expect more of the same.
