This was actually a decent episode, but very light on service with no potential for BD changes.
This episode focuses on the past history between Suseri (the big boobed priestess girl seen above) and Sakuya (the main character). In case you haven’t followed this anime, the two are sisters.
Both end up kissing or being kissed by the MC in this episode. Shinichirou kisses an unconscious Sakuya, and Suseri kisses an unconscious Shinichirou. Both times for the sake of transferring energy. How convenient.
The back story for Suseri that we get in this episode is interesting and helps provide needed depth for her character. She also has a ‘date’ scene that isn’t a date with Shinichirou. It had its share of cute moments. This episode did a lot to make Suseri feel like an actual character instead of just being something pleasant to look at.
Other than a couple of nice cleavage shots and a happy accident grope early on, this episode was almost completely fanservice free. I can’t complain too much though. This episode helped get the story back on track after a string of clunky episodes.
It’s weird to think that this anime is going to have to start wrapping things up really quick. There are just two episodes left, not counting the bonus OVA this Summer. It still very much feels like this anime is in the exposition phase. Like things are still just beginning.
