First up this series is non nude. It’s adapted from a manga of the same name which I briefly skimmed and that’s non nude as well. That’s fine for me though. One thing I always enjoy in anime is appealing character design which this series certainly has and was the main thing that got me interested in it.
So far the story is pretty good. Its a mix of politics, humor, fantasy and slice of life. England and France is at war, Maria hates the suffering that brings and tries to stop the battles. However witches are not supposed to publicly intervene in human affairs and this brings judgement from heaven. If Maria uses her powers or loses her virginity she will lose her powers.
Oh yeah Maria’s a Virgin witch and has a succubus and an incubus familiar, which is where most of the humor and fanservice comes from. Even though the manga is non nude I think they included more fanservicy shots in the anime, especially with Artemis our main succubus. It seems most witches are very in touch with there sexuality and use it often to influence men to do their bidding or just have sex for fun. When that’s not enough they conjure succubi and incubi to have a wider reach. Capitalism.
There’s cute witches is fetching outfits, horny succubi, politics and Maria’s budding sexuality. All I’m saying is this series writes hentai doujins for its self and I hope we get some good ones in the upcoming Comikets. Even though there’s no nipples, so far its enough to keep me interested for the rest of the season.
