Return
Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari returns for a season 2, about a year and half later. Opinions varied on the series itself, from the (at times) lacking animation and the quality of nudity, but one thing most people seemed to agree on is that it was at least a welcome, refreshing breath of fresh air given the environment at the time. With several ecchi having been released since then, it’ll be interesting to see a potentially more balanced perspective on it. All that said, here’s some panties from a cute blonde with pigtails.
The first shock of the season comes in the form of yet another blonde beauty. It’s Hime’s sister Morion, and no time at all was wasted in giving us a good view.
We get a classic gag, and I can appreciate the other part (the main girl getting mad and hitting the protagonist) that usually follows this gag being omitted.
A bath scene right out of the gate is a good way to get a season started. And right away, the nipple design seems much better, though still not perfect.
A bit of a training montage follows. Hime and the other princesses that don’t know magic need to learn magic, but some struggle to do so. Others like Nephrites, have a comically easy time tapping into it. She’s an elf, after all.
We’re given three places Satou and his harem must travel to increase their power. First on the list is Nephrites homeland, but on the way, they encounter some abyss monsters. This seems to be a way to demonstrate the power of the princesses that can use magic (and the weakness of those that don’t), as well as showing that a new affliction Satou is suffering could lead to trouble down the line.
We get some talk about the Abyss King, and a bit of a talk between Satou and Hime talking about the risks of going raw, of all things. A hint of what’s to come in this season, if they don’t chicken out.
A girl as appealing as Morion, you’d half expect the production to make you wait several episodes to see her in all her glory, but we not only get it in the first episode, we get a great scene right out the gate. Ass, body, good movement, well drawn and all. We’re spared nothing. Her nipples look absolutely fantastic here, a shame they don’t all look this good.
Episode 14:
This episode’s a bit of an exposition dump. To help compensate, I grabbed several shots and webm’s from the OP to help “fill in the blanks” so to say. That isn’t to say there isn’t some gold to be found in this episode outside of the opening, but it would look a bit barren otherwise.
The opening ends here, and while it was obvious given season 1’s early introduction of nipples that they wanted an extra avenue to entice viewers (and prospective buyers), being this blatant with the service right in season 2’s opening might indicate a shift in their strategy in the early planning stages. One can only hope that certain aspects of the later story might be altered as well.
We get to the land of the elves, and after some convincing of the Elder, she introduces the party to their library, which supposedly is only ever opening when an elf dies.
I was quite pleasantly surprised seeing this. No, I’m not a fan of rape or ryona, but rather the willingness of the production to show sex so blatantly, even if at this point it’s still images. The story is that the first Ring King’s constant battles began to take their toll, so lust grew where there once may have been love, to mask pain and fear. With how often sex is being talked about so openly, it gives me hope that a later scene is treated with the care it deserves, but we’ll see how that one plays out.
A long talk about the first Ring King later, the Elder, who also happened to be on of his wives, traps Satou and the harem inside until he “knows” them, in the biblical sense.
All the princesses appear to be ready to go. Morion proposes they all draw straws to arrange an order in which each princess will spend time with Satou alone. With things heating up this early, and this intensely it’s not hard to imagine what might be coming next. How soon that comes and how well it will be adapted is something I’m very much looking forward to.
