Old fashioned panty fanservice is still pretty darn good. The new shows could learn a few lessons from older shows…

Welcome back to what is looking like the fourth of five BD fanservice reviews for Okusama wa Joshikousei (My Wife is a High School Girl).
Once again if you want official nudity, you can get it. From the manga and artbook. But not from the anime although there is a good amount of almost-nudity and fanservice.

Episodes 15 + 16
These mini-episodes are mostly about a love rival (of sorts) closer to Asami’s age showing up and who happens to by Iwasaki-sensei’s younger brother. And Asami’s introduction to the concept of pornography. Her reactions are rather shy and innocent as you might imagine…
Nice to see some old fashioned panty shots done the right way. Expose and linger. But with realistic shirt physics. New shows this season could learn a valuable lesson or two from Okusama wa Joshikousei (My Wife is a High School Girl).
Last but not least, Asami’s bare butt is just too darn sexy…

These mini-episodes are mostly about the main rivalry getting kicked up a notch. Iwasaki-sensei must have been a super hottie when she was a high school girl. Very athletic.
Oh, and high school girls in tight-fitting bloomers … just have the “it” factor!

These mini-episodes are mostly about the secret marriage coming close to being discovered. And we get to see Iwasaki-sensei panties as she continues to try to seduce Asami’s secret husband…

Official Art
Once again, your best bet for official art with nudity is the manga.
There is some nudity in the artbook but not a large amount. I will be spreading those images out amongst several fanservice reviews so please be patient. In the meantime there is a good amount of sexy and service-y official art…
Thoughts
Once again, this show is not for everybody. It is very slow and very dated and can be frustrating to watch. But if your tolerance is high enough, you can find some nice artwork, a really nice chubby girl design and adult women acting greedy, needy and bitchy at times. I enjoyed the anime starting with the character designs and artwork. I also got a chuckle out of watching a harem-king-in-the-making while he was still a shota. That’s politically incorrect territory nowadays…
I also like how not every single kiss gets interrupted. A lot of them do but some don’t and that’s what counts. Plus it’s really good to see some old-fashioned fanservice even without nipples. Bare butts and boobs and panty shots can be sexy too…
Notes
This anime was created as a series of mini-episodes each with it’s own title but combined into regular episodes for DVD and BD releases. I used the same numbering system as the raws. Thus what would usually be episode 08 is shown as episode 15+16 for this review.
This anime originally aired in SD and was upscaled for the BD release. Raws were not easy to track down for this show. I used the best of what I could find at the time even if they turned out to be upscaled BD raws. The raws may have been upscaled but you can tell that whomever made them put a lot of time and effort into them.
