This was an odd one to say the least. It was part random humor, part seemingly serious storytelling, part weird for the sake of being weird, part nude fanservice, all while being (intentionally?) incoherent throughout. Anyway, the service actually gets pretty intense at times. Good stuff.

Thoughts on the anime
The year 2011 was huge for nude ecchi, especially for the low-budget variety. This anime was hardly ambitious in it’s production values, including a female seiyuu cast of total no-names. But hey, whatever it takes to give the masses boobage while still avoiding a profit loss is fine with me.
Watching this anime, I was struck by how similar it felt to Shukufuku no Campanella, particularly the OVA, which had the same exact type of eyecatches. The two series were very similar both for their emphasis on character design and art over the other production values (animation, music, seiyuu). They were also similar in that the series was low on nudity but compensated with a nudity packed, faptastic OVA. Turns out, both series share the same director.

Thoughts on the fanservice video
Sometimes I get to work on a series that is obviously going to make for an essential fanservice video. Manyuu Hikenchou, Seikon no Qwaser, Queen’s Blade, Ikkitousen, FREEZING, as well as pretty much anything Xebec does.
But every now and then, there are surprises. Oretachi ranks among the bigger ones. I figured I might get 3 minutes of nudity in this show, and the final product would be a bunch of soft fanservice to skip over when heading straight for the paizuri scene.
To my surprise, the final video ended up with roughly 9 minutes of nude footage in a nearly 22 minute video. It ended up both longer and more naked than half the FCs I’ve made to this point. Further, those fanservice scenes were hardly half-assed or timid. The paizuri scene would have been mind-blowing in a show like Seikon no Qwaser or Queen’s Blade. Even Aki Sora’s paizuri scene wasn’t quite as erotic, and Aki Sora is borderline hentai.

Gotta be one of the two older bitchy women, the blonde and the food cart operator with the beauty mark and the “pal crepe” apron. Other girls were cuter or prettier, but I just thought those two had some intangible sex appeal for some reason.
