Once again, this anime is short on running time but long on girl-talk humor aka crude jokes. If you want to get an idea of the kind of jokes you will find in Galko-chan, just look for the snapshots with subs for each episode.
Episode 07
From the OP, I had been hoping for a pool episode this season. Just wasn’t expecting it the very next episode after my last fanservice review. Or for it to be as good as it was. And then, on top of that, they ended episode 07 with a brief bath scene. Just enough to give ecchi fans a good idea of the glory of Galko-chan au naturel…

Had to go with the swimsuit fan art for the pool episode. Plus a couple of nice pieces found by fapservice readers in the comments of the last Galko-chan TV fanservice review.
Thoughts
Once again, Galko-chan is another anime that’s not for everybody. It’s a comedy first and foremost. You either find it funny or you don’t. Also the color palette is not for everybody. It’s intentionally very garish since Galko-chan is supposed to be a kogal (Valley Girl) kind of girl. But the anime is not as garish as the manga is. Check out the Official Art section of the review to see the difference. Last but not least, a lot of the ecchi is verbal rather than visual. All in all, Galko-chan is a YMMV kind of show.
It’s nice to have my expectations for ecchi exceeded when watching an anime. Admittedly, my expectations were rather low due to lack of movement on the ecchi front for the first six episodes. But still, I was not expecting a bath scene at all. Nor was I expecting as much much skin and boob bounce as we got. Not to mention a lucky stiff shōta to help us fire our imaginations up. 😉
Now that the creators seem to be upping the PLOT and letting Galko strut her stuff, chances for nudity on the BDs seem to be going up. I can see nipples being added to one scene and another scene might have been cropped. Odds are probably still against nudity though. But signs seem to be getting better and better for additional ecchi in future episodes and on BDs. Here’s hoping…
