Sister problems.
This episode returns to giving us a decent amount of nudity again. And for the most part it follows the manga the same way instead of making changes like previous episodes other than the additional nudity.
The scene pans up so fast it chopped off her nipples.
Picking up from the previous episode Peter wakes up and sees that besides Gobuko he has fucked everyone. As the others try to figure out who each other are, Gobuko comes to the conclusion that the other girls must also be his family since they want his semen as well like she does as Peter thinks how she has no concept of what family really is.
Piglet reads a letter that came for Peter and he discovers that his sister is coming to visit. This causes him to panic as he tells the others he is leaving as he gets ready to run as the others try to stop him to find out why.
It’s odd how last week they glanced over the letter and now they are pretending that didn’t happen and are pretty much retconing what happened at the end of the episode.
The others ask why he is so scared of his sister as he tells them how crazy she has become and has become famous for how strong she is at killing things. Just then he hears a knock at the door and sees it is her already and closes the door to lock her out as he tells the others to hide.
He convinces the others to hide in different areas because if she finds them she will kill them as they agree and go off as he let’s his sister Lucy in.
After letting her in he tells her he had to clean things up and that is why he locked her out. She tells him she wanted to congratulate him on his engagement to Luvelia and gives him a dragon skull and tells him it was from a recent job she took where she had to kill a dragon. As she goes to put it in his closet he runs to stop her because that is where the others are hiding as he tells her that it is full. She accepts that but starts to wonder if he is hiding something from her and asks if he is cheating on Luvelia. He tells her no and she believes him and says she knows he would never be like their dad whom cheated on their mom. Peter then mentions how she said something about him in her letter and what that was about. She tells Peter she finally hunted him down and took revenge as he pleaded for his life.
This is slightly different from the manga. In the manga Lucy mentions finding their dad and chopping his dick off and putting it in his mouth. But here they change it to pretty much imply she killed him outright.
Peter gets sick thinking about what would happen to him if she found out what is going on. And thinks back to how she used to be a nice girl but the combination of the Gobuko stuff and their dad’s cheating changed her into the killing nutcase she is now. As Peter goes to get dressed she sees panties on the ground and other things. She questions if Luvelia has been there recently and he says no causing her to question who all these things belong to then.
Having no way to answer her he realizes his only choice is to fight her only for her to destroy his sword as she chases him around the room with the intention of killing him as she now knows he must be cheating like their dad did.
After getting cornered and is about to be killed he figures out a way to save himself as he tells her that the underwear she found belonged to Gobuko as he opens the closet and lets her out. He tells Lucy that she survived this whole time and he was trying to keep it a secret from her till he knew she was ready so as to not hurt her emotionally.
Lucy goes to check and sees that it is indeed Gobuko and believes Peter as she runs to her. Peter thinks how he managed to avoid getting caught as Lucy asks Gobuko why she is naked as the episode ends.
I really wonder if this adaption is being handled by two teams whom don’t coordinate with each other. Last week a similar issue as this one occurred where it seems like they pretended some changes they did never happened and followed the manga instead. For example I brought this up before but during the goblin arc Tim and the others were never supposed to meet peter in the cave and only find him as he was escaping at the entrance. Last week they sort of followed that in the manga by having Tim and the rest of the guild show up at the entrance like in the manga completely ignoring that he and the others were in the cave beforehand. In other words it almost felt like the people that worked on one episode were following the manga while the previous episode were not and they don’t communicate those changes. At the start of this episode we saw a similar thing with the letter. At the end of the last episode they showed the letter and brought it up but just sped through it. Now this week they decide to follow the manga and have it actually be addressed directly. It’s a minor thing but it feels like they are making changes and then forgetting they made said changes before.
With that said the Main change this week was the other girls being included since in the manga they catch peter instead of joining in and then Lucy arrives after. So they did make changes that gave us more nudity this week at least. As for what is next that is where these changes they have been doing with the show makes it hard to predict. Technically next week should be the start of the dwarf arc but I almost wonder if we will get an anime original episode or at least segment to fix how disjointed this transition is. In the manga the next chapter just jumps right into the dwarf arc with it being mentioned that Lucy returned home. It felt really rushed and didn’t really give her character closure. I’m wondering if they will fix that here based on the fact that she not only has a presence in the OP but the ED with nudity as well which would be really odd for someone around for only one episode. The next episode pv images haven’t been posted yet to know what they are going to do but next week we either get the dwarf arc or they are doing something else different to bridge the two arcs and possibly give us in-show nudity of Lucy as well since it seems odd for her to be in the ED nude and not end up having anything in show. Lucy has such a minor role and no service in the manga that her appearance in that OP and ED really implies they might be planning something more with her but will have to wait and see next week.
