In this second season of an epic ecchi drought, one of the pleasant surprises has been a shonen fighting anime with a girl that is more than a match for the baka boy and manages to be both cute and sexy with a good amount of leg & thigh service plus other kinds of mild ecchi. Can the creators keep up the good work???

Benio may be stern and serious but the faces she makes can be so kawaii…

Benio wears shorts under everything including skirts and uniforms. But we do get a little bit of nice thigh action that way…
The head excorcist using porn as an emergency was amusing…

If Mayura had pursued Rokuro as hard as she does Benio, she might have won him over already…

Benio doesn’t need saving by a baka boy. That’s my kind of girl. Hope it stays that way all the way until the end. Too many shonen series push the girls aside at the last minute in order to let the baka boy hog the limelight.
The mc couple actually have pretty good chemistry. They think they hate each other right now. But this just might turn into a pretty decent romance anime.
I want to like the artwork in this show. But the artwork of the characters seems to be dropping in quality. Can’t be good. Low budgets rarely are…
Sad to see the drop-off in leg and thigh service. Still some but not as much nor as as quality as the first three episodes. Fortunately, they are compensating with some fanservice from Mayura. But more fanservice from both girls would be better.
So fanservice is down and angst and drama is up. That’s the way a lot of shonen shows are. So far the baka boy hasn’t derailed the show but only time will tell. I’ll probably keep watching it to the end. Benio is a swell mc-chan and the show is fun to watch. So far…
So no chance of nudity in Sousei no Onmyouji (Twin Star Exorcists) now or on BDs but it’s still a fun show with unexpected but mild ecchi. Check it out if you are not allergic to mild ecchi.
