Based on non-nude source material, this show actually feels a lot more like a real anime than most nude ecchi series do. Maybe that’s why the fanservice ends up being so damn sexy.

I don’t know why, but I half convinced myself there wouldn’t be much nudity on BD for this series when I saw it a few years ago, especially after the first BD volume decensoring was more conservative than To Love-Ru Trouble (season one). The stinginess didn’t last long and it actually turned into a somewhat awesome fanservice series on BD. The bath tub scene that turns into a naked chase is one of my favorite ecchi scenes ever. Over and over again, this series showed it had mastered the ability to be both sexy and fun.
I made this video for fun. Beats the heck out of wasting time on MMO’s or making anime music videos. These videos are a lot more time consuming to create (and wears down computer hardware more) than I ever expected, but it’s totally worth it.
Asobi ni Iku Yo had a decent amount of fanservice in the OP/ED segments. Rather than just tossing those moments into the episode section (which would have been awkward), I went the extra mile and re-edited the OP and ED for fanservice emphasis and used them to bookend the video. One of the alternate EDs on Blu-Ray actually had a quick nude scene not in the original series, which I kept in the re-edited ED but also added into the main portion of the video, and I tweaked with the sound to make it seem like it was really a part of the episode (it occurs at the tail end of the naked chase scene).
Doing alternate OP/EDs is by far the funnest thing about making these videos, and sometimes they actually turn out pretty cool. In some cases there isn’t much fanservice (or any at all) in the OP/ED, but I’ll still usually use a few seconds of the OP anyway as a bit of a “bumper” for the video. This will be the case on my next release (see below), which was almost entirely fanservice free in the credits.
Technical details: Almost all of my videos are encoded x264 with AAC audio (via XVID4PSP after exporting lossless from Sony Vegas). I will always strive to make these videos in the highest resolution, highest quality possible. Thankfully, most of the “new wave” of ecchi series currently have high quality 1080 releases available.
Note: This is one of my less “comprehensive” videos and focuses almost entirely on nipple sightings. In most of my future videos I’ll try to strike more of a balance between nude and non-nude, though personally I prefer these videos to lean towards emphasizing the nudity, otherwise the video kind of feels “watered down.”
