With a mysterious organization on the hunt for Tohka, a pair of twin spirits as well as a new lady loving Spirit, Shido can kiss his normal life goodbye!
Date A Live is a Japanese light novel series written by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako (Character Designer for the Hyperdimension Neptunia Series). An anime adaptation series aired on TV from April 6 to June 22, 2013. Following the end of the first season, a second season was announced, titled Date A Live II, which began airing from April 12 to June 14, 2014. At the end of the second season, a theatrical film adaptation was announced. Date A Live Movie: Mayuri Judgment premiered on August 22nd 2015.
Throughout Date A Live II there are 2 main arcs in which new spirits are introduced: Miku and the twins which are a great addition to the harem. However aside from a couple great scenes with the twins and Miku this season was pretty barren service-wise instead focusing heavily on the mediocre plot and action scenes. Date A Live’s OVA’s so far have been mostly a disappointment (disappointment in the service department I should add) and this season didn’t change that up at all. This time we got a date with Kurumi with a couple cute moments but once again minimal service. I will finish watching the movie eventually and compile that next.
