2.5 Dimensional Seduction Episodes 07, 08, 09 TV Anime Fanservice Review

Triple pack

Episode 07

Following the decision by the Student Council to give the club room over to the Aquarium Club Okumura decides to set things straight so that the Manga Club can keep the room.

This shot is way more detailed than the manga. Somehow the manga club put materials with nudity in the high school club room. Okumura makes it clear that this particular volume has porn in it.

Long story short is that Okumura convinces manipulates Mayuri-sensei into being the club advisor because of her cosrom being in their possession.

Mayuri-sensei agrees but only because she deems Lilysa as too cute and wants to abduct her for herself. There’s a quick frame of some underboob. The panty check is anime original. The cloth covering Mayura’s booty is present in the manga, but it’s very inconsistent. There is a character design floating around from the anime that has Mayura without the ass covering, which I assume will be in the upcoming episodes. However, with how inconsistent this show is it could do that, remove it entirely, or have it on in one shot and off in the next only to have it back in the next shot.

There’s a scene where Mayuri and Eli talk about cosplay. There’s a lot of attention on Eli here, but they did the obvious and cut the first nipple sighting of Mayuri. This, of course, comes as no surprise to anybody that’s been paying attention to this anime adaptation. It does leave me to wonder if they will adapt the volume 3 extra chapter though. Volume 2’s extra was adapted, but volume 3’s is far more risque.

Okumura and Lilysa run off to do a report on reading to some children instead of being responsible and telling them to play in traffic. The outfit she wears here is pretty much the same in the manga. Instead of turning in this report, they toss it in the trash and come up with another idea to keep the clubroom.

Episode 07 covers chapters 20, 21 and 22

Episode 08

The episode has a lot of anime only extra service shots of Eli and Mayura. I assume at this point that the volume 3 extras are not going to be included in the anime adaptation as that’s the first real idea of the relationship between Eli and Mayuri happens later down the line. This is something that only speedreaders and tourists tend to miss as their reading comprehension is pretty bad.

Here are the volume 3 extras that were cut:

Overall I think the anime makes this less clear than the manga does. I guess anime onlies will be blindsided by the yuri development later on.

More figurines in Okumura’s room.

Nagomi is introduced and is about ready to tell a child to play in traffic.

Nagomi in cosplay. It’s kinda funny that like Bisque Doll they can’t really draw a booty that well in this show. Perhaps that’s the real reason they’ve been shying away from showing them. They didn’t seem to have much issue in episode 3, however. It remains to be seen if they’ll drop that fabric from Mayura’s cosplay, but at this pace we won’t see until episode 10. Maybe it is the curse of shows with cosplay as a theme not to have well drawn booty.

The rest of the episode focuses on Nagomi bullying Lilysa.

Episode 08 covers chapters 23 and 24 and the bonus chapter of volume 3 thereby ending the volume 3 material. The music was the highlight of this episode.

Episode 09

Nagomi needs some serious corrections.

This shot is quite a bit different in the manga. Not only is she mostly in her outfit by now in the manga it gives a good shot of her thighs. It would be nice to know the real reasons why the production has been so weird about everything so far. Some episodes will show panties, the others won’t. My go to has been to blame Pony Canyon as they headed the production committee for Mato Seihei no Slave and that show was really weird too.

Some nice skindentation with her thighs, and the lace on her arms has to be a pain in the ass to animate which is probably why this is a still frame that pans up.

Filling the entire frame with Mayura’s booty is what the people want.

Mayura is going to stall Nagomi so that the crowd sticks around for Lilysa since she needs some time to change.

I’m probably more partial to the manga due to Hashimoto’s drawings being better, but hardly any anime competes with its own manga on illustration quality.

Episode 9 covers chapters 25, 26 and 27.
