More inconsistencies abound.
Episode 10
The episode starts off with some good service shots of the Heavenly Queen Mayura. Closeups of her booty and breasts shown in the episode and some slight boob bounce as well which hasn’t been a thing in this show up until now. Mayura is cosplaying as her favorite fighting game character Lustalotte which is supposedly inspired by Morrigan from Darkstalkers.
Nagomi on the other hand doesn’t fare so well as her booty isn’t visible in these shots. I’m not going to take any bets on these shots being cropped as we’ll see later.
Mayura definitely holds the edge in this pose competition as the production staff for the anime definitely gives her far more attention to detail and way better service shots. It’s sad how Nagomi put in a lot of work to get herself in shape and then doesn’t get to show off her effort.
Lilysa shows up cosplaying her favorite character Lilliel again. This time in forma de Chaos. I have to wonder what Jack Garland would think about this.
Then Nagomi gets some really good service shots at the end of the episode including a full body pan that shows off her glorious booty. It does raise the question of why it was shielded from the eyes of the viewers earlier in the episode, however.
Episode 10 covers Manga Chapters 28, 29, 30 and 31.
Episode 11
We get some more glorious Nagomi booty. No idea why some shots it’s cut out in Episode 10.
Never a fan of when they put the post-production “action lines” in the shot as it always messes things up.
Anime original scene in the dressing room.
Episode 11 covers chapters 32, 33, 34 and part of 35
Episode 12
This episode has the least amount of any service we’ve seen, but also some anime original service scenes.
We get some anime original view of Lustalotte’s bountiful bosom. As a retro gamer myself that owns a CRT this sort of hurts my eyes though as they’re attempt at implementing scanlines is horribly misguided here. 2.5 Dimensional Seduction doesn’t use pixel art so there’s nothing really to blend.
This screenshot from Final Fantasy 4 Pixel Remaster sort of shows what the fake scanlines of the game attempts to accomplish. Even though these games are very hit and miss on the smoothing effect, especially in battles where the enemy designers seemed to either nail it or face roll on the keyboard, this shows how it smooths out the glass floor tiles to look less blocky. The teleporter looks more circular, stairs look a bit better. This does, of course, look better with proper retro games on the right viewing globe.
A better example with the boss Melusine from Final Fantasy 5 Pixel Remaster with an actual CRT filter with scanlines:
It looks less blocky and pixelated, smoother and overall more appealing to the eye. This is, however, completely unnecessary in a 720p modern digital anime.
Completely unnecessary in a TV anime, like most of modern gaming that is a soulless cash grab with 0 innovation or vision.
It was to be expected that they’d off screen the service shots of Mayuri and Lilysa in this chapter. Instead we get nothing but Mikari on the couch talking about Mayuri’s breasts.
Taki, the student council president, abuses her authority to make Okumura shred all the ecchi manga and doujinshis in the club room. Shredding books is a strategy only used by the diabolical individuals. Although later in the narrative she does show her titties, but it remains to be seen whether the anime will get there based on current pacing. However, anime onlies will never see them. Instead they’ll have to do as the Sonic developers wanted them to.
The end of the episode introduces Nonoa the newest girl.
Episode 12 covers chapters 35, 36 and 37
