A lot of good Aria coverage
Episode 16
Episode 16 picks up where 15 left off. Aria changes into her cosplay which is a mid tier attempt compared to what the other girls have been up to. She gets chewed out for this by Noa and Lilysa.
At this point in the episode it diverts into volume 6’s extras. I’ll just post the uncensored manga panels since this is a very watered down and sanitized version. This is also, I believe, the only point in the manga that Noa’s nipples are visible so outside of this readers won’t get a chance to see her in all of her glory.
We get a view inside of the Lilliel anime with all of the angel paratroopers and I do like this aesthetic far more than the normal show aesthetic. We do get a glimpse of Ariel’s booty on the left.
Aria decides she wants to cosplay Ariel. A good choice as it will show her body off.
I got a chuckle out of these two anime original shots that seem to be references from Dragon Quest and Naruto…and maybe Jujutsu Kaisen too?
Turns out that Aria’s first cosplay was Melia from a fictional manga called Valkyrie’s Battlefield that her dad wrote.
Episode 16 covers the rest of chapter 46, 47, half of 48 and the volume 6 extras. That closes out volume 6.
Episode 17
This seems to be some top kek material. Not only did they show Mikari’s booty in episode 3, they’re showing a fair bit of Ariel’s pelvis and later in the episode Aria’s as well.
We get a good look at Aria’s cleavage. There’s a bit more here than in the manga.
Aria’s shirt is transparent in the manga. Not sure how that works but any service is good service.
We get a fair bit more shots of Aria in the Ariel cosplay here. It’s a single panel in the manga. Shows off Aria’s butt and a lot of her body here. It does raise the question of the booty cover for the Miriella character earlier in the episode. It’s just consistent inconsistency at this point.
Episode 17 covers the rest of chapter 48, 49 and halfway through 50.
Episode 18
Looks like it’s far more acceptable to lewd Aria than the other girls for whatever reason. I’ll take what I can get at this point given that Pony Canyon led productions tend to be disappoint. Episode 18 covers the remainder of chapter 50, 51, and part of 52.
The second volume of the blu-ray has also released and predictably there were no changes.
