Grisaia won the poll i made last week so here we go… I am assuming everyone here watched Grisaia no Kajitsu anime, saw its fanservice compilation or at least heard of it… It was a “decent” show with good fanservice… But compared to the Visual Novel which is one of the best eroges when it comes to characters, being “good” or “decent” is not enough… It’s like having a jet plane but deciding to use it as a car instead and driving it on the road, that kinda thing…
In this review i will tell you what you are missing by not reading the Visual Novel… Maybe you will start reading Visual Novel for reasons or just check this review and cry because you don’t have time to read a 70+ hours long Visual Novel… If you saw the Grisaia specials you should have a rough idea about VN, because those specials were the most accurate Grisaia adaptations 8bit ever did… They gave up trying to adapt Grisaia no Kajitsu after episode 5 and simply skipped Sachi and Yumiko routes… Thank god Grisaia no Rakuen was short enough that they didnt have to worry about writing a script or arranging it,they simply animated it…
Just in case you have absolutely no idea about Grisaia series,it is about five girls and a boy with most fucked up lives in entire universe going to a special school for just them… They all spend their everyday lives together and lick each others’ wounds with time… The best part is that you play the whole thing from the perspective of the most badass MC/protagonist of all times : Kazami Yuuji…

COMMON ROUTE
This part is where Grisaia shines… Putting five weird females and one socially awkward male in the same school causes all kind of absurd situations and every minute of the Common Route is just pure lighthearted lewd comedy… You will go wtf, you will laugh, you will get unexpected boners, you will question what people smoke while writing this but you will enjoy every bit of it…
MICHIRU ROUTE
Michiru is not a tsundere… She is an energetic airhead that makes everyone happy just by being around (including the readers)… She aspires to be a true tsundere and believes a true tsundere must be a blonde with twintails…
She is my best girl,this CG of her was the only reason i started reading Grisaia, it’s still my favorite CG of all time and my wallpaper ever since i first read Grisaia:

She is %70 kuudere,%30 tsundere… She is asocial and doesn’t leave her room often where she mostly surfs internet and watches porn… She is the most rational person in this bunch of weirdos and the person Yuuji trusts most as a person in all routes… She also has the hottest body overall and best H-Scenes…
She is the coldest one in the common route but if you choose her route her unstoppable “Dere” power destroys everything else… She becomes the sweetest creature ever… Her route is also the most romantic route… Wise words from Makina:

SACHI ROUTE:
She is a lewd and obedient maid/class president… One day one of the girls tells her to wear a maid outfit since it suits her, then she starts wearing the maid outfit every time she can… She has a policy of not rejecting any request because she is a good girl…

You probably remember this scene from specials…
AMANE ROUTE:
She is a BIG women, probably only thing Yuuji is scared of… She is always horny and surprisingly not even close to Yumiko when it comes to sexual knowledge even though she acts like the biggest slut… Her route is the most relevant route for the sequels, half of the route is Amane flashbacks full of drama and other half is H-Scenes after H-scenes… Kazami Kazuki also only appears in this route…
She is the cause of 8bit’s urination fetish…She and Makina are the only girls with “Pee Scenes” in the Visual Novel but for some reason in the anime 8bit added lots of pee-scenes for other girls while excluding theirs…
MAKINA ROUTE
She is the only loli of the series… She looks shy at first but has the mouth of a dirty old man… She is the sidekick of Yuuji in all routes… In her route Yuuji levels up and becomes her Papa instead of Onii-Chan which makes the romance in this route and her sex scenes quite awkward in my opinion… It ruins the mood when she screams Papa-Papa-Papa all the time during the H-Scenes(Unless you have that kind of fetish ofc,i don’ judge)…
I like to refer this route as “Yuuji Route” instead of Makina Route because Makina doesn’t have a major role here but it’s mostly about Yuuji and his past… This route is where Yuuji the most badass, he basically wages war against the whole Japan and annihilates them using guerilla tactics… Pure awesomeness…
