As far as non-nude manga go, Amano Megumi wa Suki Darake! is in a league of its own.
There have yet to be any nipple sightings through 13 volumes, and the vast majority of the service is solely provided by the titular character. That should be a recipe for a bore, yet this ecchi manga is top tier anyway. This is thanks to the incredible talents of the series creator, which are best summarized on his twitter bio: “My name is Nekoguchi. I am a cartoonist. I like drawing girls ass.”
At first it was frustrating following this series as it was such an extreme cocktease. But eventually it started to sink in that Nekogushi is all about being the king of THICC more than anything else. And the outfits definitely play a role in conveying the thicc-ness.
Amano Megumi is Nekoguchi’s debut manga, and currently remains his only published work. His thicc-worshiping style evokes the best of Syun Matsuena, if not more polished. Matsuena is also known as a bit of a teaser in his works, though over time he’s evolved to show nipples more openly. Let’s hope Nekoguchi eventually takes a similar path. But until then, Amano Megumi is still an incredible monument to the THICC female form.
