Jeez, no wonder the citizens of Misurugi hate Norma so damn much, they’re a bunch of nippleless freaks. Then again, Momoka doesn’t have them either. Obviously, she’s using the power of mana to make them undetectable.
Sadly, this marks a bit of a first for Sunrise, who hadn’t previously trolled us with fake nudity, especially with regards to their mecha anime series.
While it’s clear that this series is non-nude for now, there have been instances in the past where a show had some scenes with blank boobs and other scenes with nipples shown, and the show’s twitter account hinted at nudity in the second cour’s opening on BD. Sometimes a show can be non-nude in cour one and have some nudity in cour two.
I wouldn’t bet on seeing that happen with this show, but I wouldn’t totally give up just yet either.
What a shame it would be if Cross Ange completely misses the boat for uncensored content, as this series really has no other reason to be watched. If there was ever an anime where nudity would be a redeeming quality, it is this one.
