December is loaded. The Fall ecchi series make their debut, and To Love-Ru takes a double dip. As many as 11 different anime blu-ray releases could have nudity this month, making it the strongest month for blu-rays in a very strong year.

To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd vol.04 (December 9th)
Mea, Nana, and Rin are the starring attractions of volume four. Rin gets a needed boost in her service quotient this time around, a salvo of service that includes her famous boken paizuri scene.
High School DxD BorN OVA
This OVA was originally scheduled for the ninth, but came out three days early. It did not disappoint.
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou vol.04 (December 16th)
Volume four of Monster Musume contains episodes 7 and 8 uncensored in blu-ray HD quality. Expect minimal content changes from Nico Nico.
Grisaia no Rakuen vol.05 (December 16th)
The final two episodes are totally lacking nudity potential, but as always the BD special will be something to keep an eye on. Usually the specials that accompany non-nude episodes tend to have juicy content, so hopefully the final installment of the ‘Grisaia Trilogy’ can do the same.
The final special will star Amane and Kazuki and is entitled: “Massage that I can not write in the diary.”
Valkyrie Drive vol.01 (December 18th)
These specials will be interesting to say the least. Who will have more creative control of them? Takaki or Kaneko? Remember that in Maken-Ki! Two , it seemed that creative control of the specials was passed off from Hiraku Kaneko to Akio Takami.
The Kaneko fanboys will dream on about the the Manyuu specials and wonder what might be. My guess is that we’ll probably get something closer to the service already present in the show, much like the DxD BorN specials. Anyway, it’ll be fun to see what Valkyrie Drive has in store for us.
Bikini Warriors (December 19th)
All twelve mini-episodes (the combined air time is about the same as two full length episodes), as well as a 13th mini-episode will come in a single blu-ray. This release was originally scheduled for December 9th, but was pushed back to December 19th due to defects on the DVDs that needed to be fixed.
While it’s slightly possible that a few nipples could be added via redraw to the original 12 episodes, the main attraction will be the 13th episode which apparently has guaranteed us a few nipple sightings.
I’m not really expecting a sequel for this series, mainly because there are only so many Dragon Quest jokes a series can make. That said, it would be nice if this blu-ray sold well enough to encourage Hobby Japan to stay active in the anime business. And maybe, offer us a purely fanservice focused full length OVA in the future.
Prison School vol.04 (December 23rd)

It seems like everyone in the world stopped covering this anime after episode 8. I didn’t watch it so I have no idea what’s coming volume five. So instead, here’s a picture of an Anna Dakimakura.
To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd vol.05 (December 23rd)
Xebec was kind enough to give ecchi fans a Christmas gift this year- a second blu-ray release of To Love-Ru in the same month! After getting volume four, shoppers will only have to wait two weeks for volume five to hit store shelves.
In volume five we can expect to see uncensored scenes from Haruna, Tearju, Lala, Run, Yui, Nana, Mikado-sensei, Saki, Rin, Aya, Risa, and Shizu.
The best scenes belong to Nana who has an illusory sensual experience and to Mikado sensei who has her clothes sucked right off her body. Also, this happened. Should be a very fun volume.
Strike the Blood OVA 02 (December 23rd)
Not much is known about the second OVA, as of yet there hasn’t been a PV released for it. The massive nude scene in the first OVA was a stunner, and I’m not sure if lightning will strike twice, but here’s hoping.
It’s also worth pointing out that the original double-cour season of Strike the Blood sold pretty well, a 6.3k BD/DVD average per volume. The first OVA however, sold in excess of 10k units, which is a very rare feat for a nude ecchi anime to accomplish and that number blows away the sales numbers of the 2013 series.
Typically sequel anime sell significantly fewer discs than their predecessors, so seeing such a big spike in sales for the OVA has to be seen as an extremely encouraging sign. It’s also nice to see SILVER LINK rewarded for going heavy on nudity. Not only will this likely push for the production of a second season, but it might also cause SILVER LINK to use nudity more often due to the success of the OVA.
High School DxD BorN vol.05 (December 25th)
These were the episodes where even DxD loyalists admitted that the series was going off the rails. The story had stopped making sense, Rias’ character was almost ruined, the art quality plummeted, and the fanservice dropped in favor of horribly animated action sequences.
If there was ever a DxD volume that needed to be saved by the fanservice special, it’s this one. Thankfully, the long awaited Grayfia special is here to take our minds off just how badly this series screwed things up in the 11th hour. Grayfia has been in the show since season one but never had a nude scene (excluding eyecatches).
Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst vol.01 (December 25th)
You know this month is loaded when the first BD of Testament Burst feels like an afterthought.
There wasn’t much direct censorship in episodes one or two, though there was a pretty nice scene with Mio and Yuki wearing dog ears and getting on all fours. Production IMS will add a couple minutes of bonus footage somewhere, my guess is that it will go to the dog ears scene.
