Ecchi Miscellanea: Summer 2020 (Part 4)

Small fries, here!

Here are listed all the shows that didn’t have much fanservice or that I couldn’t follow (because I didn’t have the time or because the story was crappy even for my rather loose standards. Sorry about that).

Black Clover (12th cour ~ ep.145)

Another season of that one guy that can’t use magic in a world where everyone (and their dogs) are mages. All the old same things: girls in skimpy armors, girls in skimpy dresses and that one witch that always forgets to wear her clothes. Plus the stuff that actually forms the remaining 99% of the show but that I won’t bother making media from.

Re Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Season 2)

Second season of  the amiable splatter isekai where the main character gets offed time after time just to suffer some more while going crazy and trying to save girls left and right. This season with the addition of more maids, beastgirls, skimpy assassins and godly witches.

Muhyo to Rouji no Mahouritsu Soudan Jimusho (Season 2)

Second season of “Muhyo & Roji’s Bureau of Supernatural Investigation”. Which is yet another not-ecchi anime, but that we feature here ’cause being a supernatural/horror, it goes with the trade that there’s at least one naked girl or two and a big-boobed co-protagonist. Other than that, the title pretty much tells all, slow anime but certainly not the worst pick of the season.

The God of High School

Uhm… weird show. Basically this is what happens if a korean author whips together all the japanese battle-shonen of the last 30 years and tries to make sense of the whole shebang. Pretty entertaining, though. Also, being a battle shonen, we got some skimpy-dressed girls (good) that obviously didn’t get even 5 minutes of screentime (bad).

Fruit Basket (Season 2, 2nd cour)

So, in the spring review I told you of that old-school shojo anime about a girl meeting an extended family of people that can turn into the Chinese zodiac’s animals (etc etc), and of the smoking hot girl of the Horse. Remember that? Have some more.

Ahiru no Sora (4th cour)

Anime basketball themed. Male team. So… why is here? Easy. Because in the last episode (#50) there was a 5-minute beach visit, so enjoy a couple shots of the captain of the school’s female basketball team.

Boku no Hero Academia: Ikinokore! Kesshi no Survival Kunren

Boku Hero Academia special (English title “My Hero Academia: Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training“) that aired early in the season. Just your friendly Boku-Hero without fanservice improvement, so get this shot of Yaoyorozu Momo’s huge cleavage. Trust me, you need it.

I didn’t really watched the following two shows, so take these reviews with a grain of salt.

Kanojo, Okarishimasuku

Honestly, I dropped this one at episode 2 because it was too much cringe for my feeble and innocent soul. So you get only something from the first two episodes. Basically a story of a university guy that “rents” a one-day-girlfriend to forget about the girlfriend that broke up with him and random shenanigans that happens because he’s a spineless wimp. Some people think it was the best anime of the season. Not my opinion but nonetheless the art was really good.

Lapis ReLiGHT

A show about magical girls… witches (?) that become…. idols? Not sure, really. I watched only the first episode and was pretty decent but I wasn’t thrilled. I should say, the girls had nice dresses and giggled a lot. Maybe is worth a chance if you have time.

Aaaaand, this is it. Summer was rather entertaining, with a lot of low-key fanservice shows, more than I could follow, actually.

In these trying times we close this review with some wise words from the beloved summer’s postergirl.

Got it?
