The expected and the unexpected
In this review installment of the show about monsters molesting maidens, we have some sequences in which the main character is the instigator, and benefactor of service.
Episode 02:
We have a newcomer this episode, a welcome one who is sure to show her breasts, willingly or not, in the near future.
While reminiscing on Will’s (hat man above) training, Kikuru also laments that his departure means that his own retirement is further away than he’d have hoped.
The Black Mage Tokishikko makes her first appearance, and her first impressions as well – she lacks ambition, almost to the point of being lazy, but the need for money motivates her just barely enough to do her job.
Tokishikko, at the very least, is not lacking in friendliness. She seems to bond with Hitamu immediately.
As Hitamu finds herself restrained by yet another monster, Kikuru uses this opportunity to see Tokishikko’s strength first hand and requests that she battle. However, her stamina is so poor that she trips and is nearly exhausted just running over to fight it.
If you thought groping and licking crossed the line, now we have rabbits motorboating and eating out Hitamu. With how progressively she’s being violated, I expect soon that this will become an NTR anime, as another male arrives and takes Hitamu for himself, willing or not.

Both girls fail spectacularly in defeating the rabbits, with Tokishikko going full scorched earth as she destroys everything nearby.
Another new arrival on the scene, a warrior girl named Hanabata. Kikuru is impressed, but seeing as how each of these girls has proven their ineptitude, it’s only a matter of time before he grows disappointed.
An interesting and left out detail here with the panties – I’m not sure if the dripping liquids are from the slime or Hitamu herself. The anime leaves them out entirely.
Hanabata is at least capable of defeating a monster, which is more that can be said of any other girl introduced so far.
The episode cannot end without Hitamu being violated several times. This second half of the episode helps to meet the quota, this time with some kind of boar using their snouts.
Unless I missed something, Hanabata’s panty shot is not in the anime. And unlike Tokishikko’s from earlier in the episode, there doesn’t seem to be any intention of its re-inclusion in the BD release.
Hanabata appears to possess some kind of exotic ability in which she exchanges her sanity (and her memory of when she’s in this state) for power. This thankfully provides us some service that does not involve monster molestation.
Episode 03:
This episode wastes no time in reducing Hitamu to yet another embarrassing and humiliating state.
After observing yet another failed sortie with the girls, Kikuru comes to the conclusion that the girls could use some rest.
There’s not much to be said here. The girls all dress up in some cute outfits, and meet up to have a relaxing day in town.
Kikuru and Enome have a talk here that seems to imply an eventual reveal of a greater plot point. Kikuru suspects that the monsters are absorbing mana from the girls, without intending to hurt or kill them.
Tokishikko prompts the rest of the girls to talk about their romantic experiences. Each girl has absolutely none, for a variety of reasons. Tokishikko then calls up Kikuru to ask which girl he’d like to end up with if he had a chance. He answers “Enome” just to shut her up. With the reveal that each main girl is actually a maiden (sans Enome), one can only hope that Kikuru manages to correct that before one of the monsters does.
A somewhat odd and very lengthy sequence of Hitamu accidentally embracing Kikuru is a welcome one after the majority of “service” so far has been instigated by monsters.
Enome decides to join Kikuru’s party to investigate his suspicions.
As always, it is not a Futoku no Guild episode without at least one instance of Hitamu being violated.
Even Enome cannot avoid the lascivious grasp of the monsters, and the snakes violate her as well. Kikuru asks if it’s alright to remove to snake from Enome’s body, as doing so will probably lead him to accidentally touch certain other parts of her body as well. When he gets a handful of Enome, Kikuru grows enraptured and describes the sensation of grabbing her breasts as a poet would.
Hitamu was forgotten for a while, as she refused to call out for help because she wanted Kikuru to focus on saving Enome first. I’m not sure if this was a way for the writer to convey Hitamu’s giving and graceful personality through her actions (or inaction in this case), or just an excuse to give Enome a good share of the service for this sequence.
Eshune, now revealed to be Enome’s daughter, seems to have wanted to meet Kikuru for some time now, leading to the above embrace.
Episode 04:
This episode’s service is pretty straight forward, almost like something you’d see out of anime from days gone by.
A snafu at the doctor’s office leads the assistant to ask Kikuru to disguise himself and impersonate the doctor for checkups on 4 other girls that had not yet been serviced. These 4 girls are of course, our main cast.
I’d like to mention here that a girl’s bare back is a highly underrated erotic visual. While frontal nudity is the pinnacle for most, it’s important to remember that it’s everything else that enhances it.
Hitamu is able to tell the disguised doctor is Kikuru because of his smell – she is a beast girl after all. I had hoped that this sequence would help progress Kikuru’s relationship with the girls and with this reveal it seems my hope was at least somewhat satisfied.
We move now to a sequence of Meidena and Tokishikkos exercising. Both are in dire need of greater physical endurance, and some erotic positioning is exactly the way to do it.
The show is at least not shy in showing us Meidena’s panties or depicting her in some very compromising positions, but seems to be avoiding the nudity, at least for now.
The girls exhaust themselves squabbling with each other before the training even begins, earning them a scolding from Kikuru.
After exhausting themselves with a bit of exercise, Meidena can hardly walk and manages to roll her ankle in the process of getting up. She refuses to be carried back by Kikuru because she thinks it would be “weird” with all the touching involved. Asking the girl who could barely do two sit-ups to carry her back instead leads to the predictable result as seen above, with both collapsed on the ground. This is the end of the episode.
With the series 1/3’rd of the way through, I think there is at least something anyone can look forward to. I am not knowledgeable as to what’s coming next, as unlike most of the series I cover here, I am not familiar with the source or reading ahead, so we’ll have to see whether anything fruitful (beyond monster violation) comes about. I have a feeling that the real answer is years away and will be manga exclusive, so be it.
