Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san Episode 01 Fanservice Review

TNA – Total Nonstop Action

Takamine-san, as you’ll soon see, is rife with content. The amount of sexy closeups and focus on undressing/lingerie is something I’d have only hoped this adaptation would include but did not expect. Of course, this is just the first episode, so who knows if they’ll keep this up down the line. Most dedicated ecchi don’t have nearly as much attention given to the smaller bits of service that I’ll be pointing out a few times in this review. A brief introduction to the story is that the protagonist Shirota is a below-average guy by almost every metric, who happens to get lucky one day and discover the titular Takamine san’s secret.

Takamine-san herself is the typical school goddess – the best in everything: looks, grades, athleticism, you name it.

Shirota slips into the sports equipment room to pass time during lunch. Takamine walks in shortly after and takes her shirt off, and Shirota gets a good peek, but also notices that Takamine wasn’t wearing a bra, and came in to put one on.

Tests are returned, and while Shirota performed as expected, Takamine failed to get a perfect score. This prompts Takamine to question the teacher, who reasserts that he was correct in his scoring. Which causes Takamine to rise and take off her panties. Shirota is confused, even more so when he realizes he witnesses the same scene play out with one key difference. This time Takamine is given a perfect score of 100.

Shirota gets the feeling that he’d just witnessed something inconceivable, something truly spectacular (not just her ass). So he musters the courage to indirectly question Takamine on this. Takamine is sharp, and though her deduction relies on information not yet given to viewers that will be explained soon, she is able to determine how Shirota knows, and asks him if he’s “seen them” (her breasts).

Two quick eyecatches.

Shirota fumbles with a cup of water Takamine hands over to him, but quickly steps aside and dodges it. Shirota kneels down to dry it up, but Takamine takes her bra off in response. Strangely, Shirota turns to see Takamine wearing a wet shirt, when just moments ago he’d seen her sidestep the water.

Takamine has Shirota dry her off. She’s trying to call attention to the fact that she doesn’t have a bra on. Even going as far as gripping Shirota’s hand to get him to “feel” if there’s any difference. Shirota only notices that her tits are soft, earning the above punishment. I call this a fair trade, and definitely one I’d probably make.

Takamine points out her lack of bra to Shirota, who understandably says that she’s not wearing one because she simply took it off. It is here where Takamine explains her ability, that she can make something that happened, into something that didn’t happen. In this example, she took off her bra to make it so that she didn’t avoid the water that Shirota spilled. To prove this, she rhetorically asks Shirota where the bra she took off is now, and the answer is that it no longer exists. All underwear she uses for this purpose simply disappears. This raises the question of why Shirota is the only one that seems to remember events from before Takamine uses her ability, and the answer is that he’d seen her bare breasts, which somehow allows him to remember where others cannot.

Takamine asks herself, insinuating that this would the next question that would naturally follow (though notably, Shirota didn’t think of this. Whether this was because he was so nervous or scared, or if the author wanted Takamine to come across as egotistical, or both is unknown), why she was given this ability? She claims it’s only fitting that one as excellent as herself possess this ability. She then reminisces on when she first discovered she had this power (fifth grade), and admits she’s used it liberally to maintain her position as the school’s number 1.

So why is Takamine bothering to tell Shirota any of this? Having her underwear disappear whenever she uses her ability is problematic for obvious reasons, but it also carries the risk of someone else growing immune to her ability if they just so happen to catch a glimpse like Shirota did. She offers him the position of becoming her closet – carrying around her underwear and helping her out whenever she needs to change. Shirota questions why, there being seemingly no benefit to him. Takamine says that it should be an honor for someone so mediocre to be given this privilege, clearly demonstrating how little she thinks of Shirota and how warped her view of others has become.

Very slight bounce. This is what I mean by smaller bits of service. They absolutely could have skipped out on something as minor as this, and I’m very thankful they didn’t.

The above two frames are successive. Notice that her right nipple just sort of materializes.

Shirota demonstrates he has a spine and denies her. Though partially out of fear and confusion of what he’s just witnessed, but also scolding her, saying that making a request of someone by demeaning them is no way to treat people. He’s rewarded with Takamine guiding his hand and allowing him a nice squish.

Takamine screams for help, and scares him shitless by holding his future in her hands as she could clearly have him jailed for what happened, showing just how much power she has over him, essentially blackmailing him. Shirota agrees.

As part of his initiation I suppose, Takamine has Shirota put her panties on for her. Takamine notices that he closes his eyes as he does so, causing her to mock him just a bit.

Zoom in on the bottom right. If you look closely, you’ll see a crease which is obviously the start of her left nipple. I take it as a sign that some of these images and panning shots are cropped, and we’ll get the full images with the BD release.

Notably, Takamine notices that Shirota was looking away as often as he could during this whole escapade. Rather than mock him again, she actually seems a bit appreciative of his tact, calling it the behavior of a gentleman. This is clearly the initial hook as to why she’s even interested in him at all despite how average he is.

This entire episode went through only the first chapter. I imagine we’ll be progressing faster from here. One thing I wanted to call attention to is how much more well done this production is in comparison to many ecchi from years past. Though as I said before, this is just the first episode. I can only hope they’ll keep things up from here.
