One might think that anime girls lack sex appeal or something with the way too many anime posters have been hiding their bodies lately…
This month’s anime posters aren’t completely dry for fanservice. But it’s sort of for every step forward, there’s a step backwards. The feet may be moving but the net result is pretty much staying in place. Nice to see some posters for new shows though. But it looks like fanservice fans will have to continue to count on old standbys like Strike the Blood. Less clothing would have really helped to improve service this month…
Starting with 2019, we are treating Megami as the benchmark for anime posters and including all of their posters in our monthly posters blog posts. And any other magazine’s posters that get a yande.re pool in between the Megami pools will be considered as well. But only selected posters or VHR (Very High Resolution) scans. It really needs to look like something that might actually be found on an anime fan’s wall or it’s not really a poster. So no walls of text or walls of images, unless there is some compensating service to make up for the distractions. Also no posters from anime shows that are likely to never have any service or sex appeal of any kind even in their posters.
Also, because somebody asked in the comments, JBOX (aka J-LIST) has some of the magazines for sale. Now mixed in with books for some reason. They do sell out so you should buy them asap if you are interested.
Once again, Megami pools are the bookends.
