Originally slated for an August debut, Kancolle is now set to begin airing in January.
At least, that’s what Myanimelist is saying.
Kancolle is being produced by Diomedea, a company that hasn’t done nudity in half a decade or so (Kodomo no Jikan OVA, Chocotto Sister ). It’s also based on a popular browser card game that presumably wants to keep a good image, despite the immense amount of hentai it has inspired.
I wouldn’t say my expectations for this show are high, but given that Strike Witches and Vividred Operation were financially successful, I wouldn’t rule it out “full service” completely.
