Kinsou no Vermeil Episode 6 Fanservice Review

More Vermeil

Last week ended on a dramatic cliffhanger – Vermeil was injected by a serum that unleashed her full power. Its up to Alto to save the day and rescue his big tittied waifu.

Does anyone find this form of Vermeil fapworthy? Her titties are massive, sure. but then there’s the chiseled six pack and the fact that her face looks like Mileena’s. It’s a hard no for me, but I’m sure there are some readers thrilled by this development.

Enraged by Vermeil being turned into a monster against her will,  Alto springs into action.

It makes zero sense to me why Alto would sacrifice himself to save the villian here. Was it to protect the “innocence” of a …demon? Pretty sure she’s killed before, and if anyone deserves to die its the Aizen wannabee. But of course Alto cant die here so something will happen to bring him back to life.

These simple words and an embrace is enough to bring Vermeil back to her senses. No, him sacrificing himself wasn’t at all necessary to accomplish that. but it hardly matters because as we all know, death isn’t permanent in anime.

Aizen wannabee cannot handle this turn of events and transforms himself into a demon. Problem is he’s still weaker than Vermeil at 10% of her power.

Vermeil is rather depressed about the recent events. Not only did she kill Alto, but to revive him she needed to bind their life forces together. Kinda romantic.

Almost every supernatural romance contains a conflict about age longevity – the mortal human will die long before their partner, raising the question of how the demon will live on after their beloved has passed away. Usually these stories will continently stop right before that question needs to be answered as to not put the reader into a fit of depression – see Inuyasha for example.

Vermeil creates an interesting solution to that by fusing their lifeforms together. When either dies so will their partner immediately after. Quite romantic, and a great way to make everyone happy from the readership to the characters involved as their relationship outlook becomes so much more clear.

From a service perspective this was the weakest episode (that is unless you are into beast forms). But as far as story and character development is concerned, this was really what Kinsou no Vermeil needed to go beyond just a big tittied waifu show. Vermeil and Alto have already confessed their love for each other, and are now literally bound together until the end of their lives, and its only episode six. Things should only go up for here.
