To the beach!
Continuing a series of reviews for a very underrated romance last season. Episode six contains some of the best service in the show, as one would expect from a beach episode. Episode eight has yuri overtones! Everyone loves that. Episodes seven and nine contain little to no fanservice however, so the media in this review will be lighter than usual for a batch.
Yes, these two are dating. No we don’t need to discuss how that is physically possible. Not that anyone asked.
We haven’t seen much from this character, Beast Princess, up to this point. Better late than never. She a cutie.
No words are necessary to describe how cute Desumi is on a regular basis. Basically the perfect waifu from her looks to her devotion towards her lover.
Odds are these two become a couple at some point later in the series. A wise man once said persistence wears down resistance.
This is like the only instance of jiggle physics I can recall from this show. One again, better late than never.
There’s actually nothing in episode 7 worth covering for fanservice reasons. It was about the green ranger and Desumi being former sparring partners as kids. Key word former – Desumi beat his ass so bad he developed intense trauma. Very funny, but again no service as much of the episode was in a flashback involving children with zero sexual overtones.
Episode 8
This episode isn’t so packed with service either, but there is something notable – yuri overtones. Desumi encounters a bully that not so subtly wants to fuck her. How will she respond? Hopefully she’s receptive.
Turns out Beast and Steel Princess attend the same high school as Desumi, Reaper Princess. Not a soul has figured out that they’re all high profile villain’s.
Bully girl, identity to be revealed later, creates a scheme to separate Desumi and Fuudo by threatening to reveal their relationship to the public.
Bully girl proposes to Fuudo that if he breaks up with Desumi, or goes out with her, or kisses her hand, she will not expose their relationship to the public. The response is predictable.
If this was a hentai they’d all just have a happy ending, together, but its not so the loser is predictable here.
Bully girl moves on from her attempt to separate the two eternal lovebirds, and later on is shown to actually be a villain (Heat princess) so maybe she’ll appear again down the line.
Episode 9
There’s a trend here of the fanservice winding down after the beach episode. The most notable thing here is the formal introduction of Desumi’s little sister, Urami, and her father making an appearance with Fuudo in disguise. Here’s a stitch of the cute little sister –
One may consider me lazy for not covering more from this episode, but I just couldn’t find enough fanservice quality shots to warrant creating media. This episode was more focused on the characterization of Urami, as well as the character development of Desumi, than anything lewd. Which means that it’s not very relevant to a website that is focused on service. I would say this turnout is disappointing, but this isn’t a traditional ecchi anime to begin with.
The next batch of episodes will formally finish this series of reviews. But the next release from me will probably be Vermeil.
