Produced by a part-time hentai company and given a low budget, short episode format, Okusama ga seito kaichou! ended up with an overall production quality that felt closer to Nozoki Ana than it did to the likes of High School DxD.
And I think as long as you think of this series by Nozoki Ana type standards (sensible given the production similarities), it was just fine. Pleasantly surprising even.
The manga was hesitant to show nipples, often just half showing them in ways to sexually frustrate readers. The anime leaves far less to the imagination, particular in the OVA and second season. That’s a big point in favor of this adaptation.
It’s kind of shame (in my opinion) that Seven’s more recent TV efforts are essentially hentai. There’s no shortage of hentai out there, while harem anime full of cute girls baring all is becoming scarcer each year. This wasn’t a masterpiece, but it did what it was expected to do, and then some.
As far as the video goes. Pretty good, worth a download. Especially in the present drought. The first season leaned more towards appreciating the ass, the 2nd season – titties. Add them together, and it’s one of the more balanced compilations.
